Philosophy means "A Love of Wisdom".
I never truly understood philosophy, although I've always been interested. So now, I have a book called, Philosophy for Dummies.
So, what have I learnt so far?
*Morality is objective.
*Man was born to die.
*Philosophers never agree on anything.
*Most were on drugs (Just a thought).
Wow...I still find it facinating though.
I am sitting here, thinking about the nature of the universe, slightly creeping myself out, and all of a sudden random thoughts pop into my head:
Do they have hot cocoa in hell?
If they do, would it still be hell?
What is hell like? Heaven?
Do either exsist?
I always believed that morality is in the eye of the beholder. We all have our own views and no matter who we are, we have our own morals. There is no truly evil person, just like there is no truly good person. We all have faults, we all have our good points. I think as long as you try your best to be "good" you will be.
I am still wondering about the cocoa though...
When you look back upon your life what do you want to see? A trail-blazer or a sheep? A lover, a fighter, a loner? Do you want to see happiness, in any of its forms, or do you want to see despair? Will you see the good, with the bad? Will you see yourself as you were meant to be or as the person you somehow became.
When you look back, will have regrets?
Do not die with regret, do not die without looking back. You can always change. You can become the person you were meant to be.
