As I look into the horizon

I feel the wind drifting by me

i taste the sea salt as I lick my lips

waiting with a hunger



standing on the cliff as if a beacon

my eyes search the waters

like a wave crashing upon the shore

seeking to find that strong soul



the one that holds me afloat

and blows life into my shallow body

holds me above the dark waters

and carries me to his safe harbor



as my beacon shines bright

I will search into the night

Knowing he will come

I wait and anticipate

Why Is life so hard

And I hurt so bad

I just rather go away

I just want to hide and leave everyone behind

Never to look back nor return

There has to be something better somewhere

Is it here or is it hell



Do I leave my friends….

Most that or fake or only pretend

Those that are there only to get something in return

Look around where are they now

Are they here or is this hell



I choose hell

To walk and live

I don’t need anyone nor do they need me

I will be in my world with myself

Never again to open up and let others in only to destroy what is left of me

I welcome myself to hell

I feel the piercing in my heart

I don’t know why I feel the pain

I knew it was to come

‘cause that is the way you are



You build a person up, just to let them fall

You stick the dagger into their heart

Twisting and turning until there is nothing left

Just a hollow spot that once was full of love



I thought that I could change your ways

But you are to be who you are….

As the dagger drops and you walk away

Leaving your prey bleeding upon the floor

looking out into the night

i see you in the mist

my mind connects with you

wanting to reach out to save us both



the fog is starting to drift over you...

is it the night that takes you away

or is it the missing part of our souls that hides you



with outstretched arms i try to reach you

but you seemed to be getting farther away

I close my eyes and try to reconnect

but i only feel the coldness of the night



how did we allow the darkness to overcome us

the cold take over the passion that once lived between us

was it real or was it just an imagination of love

did you really exist but only in my dreams



i turn and walk away feeling hollow

as i close the door and shut out the cold

i once again feel the loneliness take hold

i close my eyes and let the darkness unfold upon me

She looks up into his eyes

Knowing she is about to die

He licks his lips and anticipates the bite



The blood so red and tasting sweet

He leaves her in a speedy retreat

as the sun sinks under the earth and the darkness pours down on the world, my soul reaches out into the night grasping for the unkown. wondering through the endless black seeking other forms that will lead me to the next level, searching for the lost souls of time. as the darkness surrounds me, my mind is lost to the howlings of the forgotten....looking, searching for what isnt there. i look to the sky for understanding and realize my destiny is before me.......i close my eyes and see myself surrounded by the eyes of death waiting for me to join their path... i cry out as i enter into their world, the next level that has been haunting my soul, the world of total darkness... this is my destiny.
