Theory of Randomness

23:22 Jul 20 2009
Times Read: 558

Have you ever seen Knowing? Well, that’s where I learned the theory of randomness. Only, in most non-scientific minds-including mine- it’s not viewed as something written, it’s actually random. Like watching youtube videos. You simply type in something random-thus, the name- and the see what clicks. Of course, it’s not truly what the theory of randomness is about. In my mind-and a lot of other offbeat people, such as artists and actors- the theory of randomness is how we thrive.

Such as an actor or actress. Think, improve. You can’t do improve without being random. You pull from your mind something in an instantand try to fit it into your situation or crow. It’s like our animal instinct. It’s as simple as that, when you think about it. Though, not as simple when you try it out. And with an artist, they have to have an open mind. Sure, an artist can stick to a certain area, one type of paint, but they can’t keep doing the same thing, otherwise their art won’t sell.

So, why is a life style just considered random, when these people are like the scientists or testers in a lab experiment? They happen to be the ones living it out. They are the ones who know how it ends and how it begins. If a scientist were to try living at random, meaning no choices made, just a spring of the moment thought or input, wouldn’t they’d try to find a way around it? It’s simple facts: the scientist would try to measure out odd against even, pro against con. It’s their mind process; working on the mathematical side of the brain while the theory of randomness is lived out by artistic people on the artsy side of the brain.

And, anyways, wouldn’t a scientific theory be named something more…scientific. For bugs and animals they have twenty word names when we could just say worm. The theory of randomness is a lived-out lifestyle. The “real”, also known as scientific, theory of randomness deserves a new, longer name. Think hard, scientists. This could be a dozy
