Winter nights are silent. cold, there are no sounds, except for the sounds of moonlight when there is moonlight, if there's no cloud cover, and that happens quite often. Winter nights can, and are lonely, when the quiet is deafening to the point of being maddening. It's this calm that can make people crazy before spring arrives, when those dead resurrect themselves from a cold sleep. I'm not too fond of winter, it depresses me, makes me mad especially with the too much snow we often get this time of year. Snow finally quit and i'm happy about it. It's going to be warmer soon and that makes me happy. It's time for warm weather in a big way i've waited for it so long. Time to get back out on the bike, to cruise, feel the warm air on me. Riding is something i like to do as much as i love to write, and listen to music. Well music is number one for me, writing comes second, and biking a close third. It's one of those things, and i love those things that make the creative juices flow. Some of those ideas come from the many muses that whisper in my ear from time to time, from places far away. I hear the many songs of those whispers from beyond time and infinite spaces, i listen and the words come from me, and the strokes of my pen, to this white sheet of blank paper. it makes me feel like a shadow, when i write on paper, i'm giving myself a reason to become solid, and not the wispy shadow i once was. I'm free, and my words are free, they flow and merge on the page.
