The Last Kill

You've been wandering around lost in the middle of no where for hours. The sun is setting when you finally find a house resembling a Victorian style manor, it looks new. As you approach you notice there's candlelight from an upstairs window. You knock on the door three times.
Someone calls out, "Come in!"
You figure they're probably expecting someone else, but you are tired so you step in. You're standing in a hallway, there are stairs to your left and you yell up them, "Sorry to disturb you, I'm lost and I was wondering if you could help me."
"Come on up here."
You start to walk up the steps when you notice a portrait on the wall at the top landing, it looks familiar. You walk the rest of the way up never taking your eyes off the portrait, to your surprise it's a picture of you.
"I'm in here," the voice is coming from the room at the end. You're nervous but curious now.
You approach slowly, as you reach the door you swing it open. There's nobody in there. You take one step in when you feel someone's breath on your ear, you realize someone has a hold of you from behind.
"Welcome," you hear a sensuous female voice, "I've been waiting for you."
She allows you to turn around and look at her. You've never seen her before. When you look into her eyes you see a cold, soulless lust. She pulls you close and you feel her lips brush your neck. She gasps with pain.
"I'm sorry," you tell her as she fades to nothingness in your arms. As you leave the house you drop the bloody stake you used to kill her. Finally your search is over, having fulfilled your oath you disappear in the wind, you can now rest in peace.
