Spell for Self-Confidence

You will need:

Four objects connected with your skills or successes

red cloths for wall hangings and the altar

brass candlesticks with red candles

a large golden sun symbol, if you can make or find one

red clothing for yourself

The Spell:

After the circle is cast, the Quarters called and Deities invoked, pick up the first of your success objects and face the East. Display it to the Guardians of that Quarter, and explain what it is and how it represents a success in your life.

Say aloud:

"I am Confident!"

Visualize the energy before you, and inhhale deeply, saying in a strong voice,

"I have the power of Air!"

Repeat the process in the South(Fire), the West(water), and the North(earth). Then stand in the center of the circle, surrounded by your power objects, and meditate on all that you have achieved in your life: the obstacles you have overcome, the goals you have attained. If you wish, play stirring music while you do this.

Then lift your arms and say in a mighty voice,

"I am Spirit!"

Wear something red on yourself for the next six days.

This is a small spell to use, mostly when you are stressing out because of work or personal problems. First clear your mind. Then repeat the following verse three times:

"Strength of day

Strength of night

Give me strength

Beyond my sight"

Protection spell for self

This spell is to protect yourself on all sides.

You Will Need:

A White Candle

A Candle Holder

The Spell:

This spell is best performed when the moon is full.

Sit before your candle-burning altar and empower the candle with the powers of protection.

You should have already cast your magick circle and now you are going to cast an inner circle of personal protection.

Place the candle in a holder and light it.

Now slowly and very carefully, pass the candle in a wide circle around your head, transferring it from one hand to the other behind and above your head.

Do this three times, visualizing the candle flame leaving behind it a circle of protective white light that envelopes you. Now say:

"This circle of protection moves with me,

It goes where I go,

It bends where I bend,

It protects me on all sides,

From all things seen and unseen,

So mote it be"

Leave the candle to burn down and go about your day, knowing that your protective circle is with you.

If you prefer, and providing your visualization is clear, you can cast this spell with an unlit candle, and then light it afterwards.

This spell will bring you good health and good fortune.

You Will Need:

A Lemon Teabag

A Brown Candle

A Pink Candle

The Spell:

Energize the tea with healthy energy.

Holding a candle in each hand repeat:

"Good health and long life bless with good fortune"

Then light the candles and repeat:

"I shall always have good health,

So mote it be"

Leave the candles to burn, and go and make a refreshing cup of lemon tea.

As you drink the tea, know that your mind and body are in peak condition.
