When the knife digs through the sculpture made of flesh and blood,
The flood that follows, rings a familiar tone of ‘don’t do it’ inside.
The artist inside rejoices in the delirium that sets in after the dispensable event.
The moment when pain morphs into pleasure, I loose myself and ‘why do I do this?’
The severe tragedies of life breathes perfectly in the gravely events I procreate,
A sense of awe and sadness,
I welcome after the world conceives the conclusion of my act with their GIANT eyes.
Risen eyebrows, whispers that were too loud to echoed out, reach my presence.
Their judgmental eyes search for an explanation that coincide with my behavior,
Tearing off labels, I want to scream ‘’I AM HUMAN’’,
A harmony of laughter will follow, degrading the meaning of ‘understanding’.
The fair life don’t fare in reality, accept the shouts, the names, the laughs,
Tame yourself for a brighter day.
Waking moments spend in solitude,
Sleeping off nightmares where he dreams of his doom,
He takes a deep breath to feel less insane.
Then he calls the one that cleanses his wrongs,
With a simple touch of it, he forgets his woes,
He takes a knife,
He lets it delve softly through his skin
It lusts for more than the scars, it wants to go deeper.
He screams when they touch, but it’s always there to wipe his tears.
It lusts for more than the scars,
it wants to go deeper.
Risking life, he’s convinced he’s saving his life,
With every motion, he steers the instrument of death, deeper into his emotions
He lets it all out, every moment he shut off.
After handful of moments, he saw the stain he wanted to
He lets his knife swim and slither on top of his veins,
Coupled with the tempting glow, it makes his life whole, or so…
But the soothing pain reminds him,
The darkest places he shines in, is where he should be rid of.
When he met her in a crowded place
Forcing smiles everywhere, dreading life,
Their wandering eyes met in secrecy
She smiled at him in sincerity
He saw her in all her divinity;
He returned the favour without questions.
As in love, eventually in life
All his hopeless nights went away.
He never craved for misery.
Waking up... His fingers run up her body,
Slowly lifts her hair out off her face
He holds her by the hip,
He gently caresses her face
And when their lips meet, all their problems just seem to float away.
