omg my grandmothers grand journey

So my grandmother is like 85. She gets along very well for her age. Anyway on sunday she went to a birthday party for one of my cousins birthday and it didn't turn out well. She arrived over and hour late because she got lost on the way. This woman has made this trip billions of times so you would think she would know the way. Anyway she showed up for the party and ate and all that good stuff. When she got ready to leave one of my cousins asked her if she was ok to go home. She said yes I know the way. This was not the case. Ok so this is the route. lol

She starts out in Urbana IL and travels to Christman IL. Now in order to get back here she has to drive west she takes off and drives east. She ends up in layfette IN. She gets pulled over for driving to slow. The cop asks her if she knows where she is going. She says yes and then she drives over to Kankakee Il. hahahaha yeah long drive. She gets pulled over again by the police they ask her if she knows where she is going she again says yes. They give her directions to Dwight Il to get to the interstate that she needs to be on. She drives to dwight and gets pulled over again. Again they cops ask she says yes. They end up giving her directions back to Kankakee. From there I don't know exactly where she went but she ended up in like beloit Wisconsin. She parks outside of a business and sits in the car. Meanwhile My grandfather waits until monday at about 3 in the afternoon to call my mother and tell her my grandma hadn't made it home. Which means she has been missing for 26 hours. So the state police get called and they call the bastards from onstar. They want to know where her car is at. The stupid bastards refuse to give the information to the state police. grrrrrrrrr. So the lady from the start police department puts out a statewide missing person for Illinois, Indian, and wisconsin. Meanwhile the cops pick up my grandma in beloit wisconsin and have to transfer her to the police station in elkhorn wisconsin. she was in this little tiny town and they police station closes at night so the station in elkhorn is the main station. So from the time my mom called the state police till the time they picked up my grandmother it was only two hours. My grandma had been driving for 26 hours straight she didn't stop to eat nor sleep just to get gas. So my mom has to leave here at 6 at night drive 4 hours to get her. When questioned about what happened my grandmother swore that there was two vans full of men following her. dementia I believe. My grandmother also said that she was in st louis at one point too and that may have been true. So my mom and bro get her from the cop shop and stop on the way out of town to get her something to eat. As they are leaving the place they ate my grandma sees this guy getting out of his pick up truck and tells my mom that he was one of the guys following her. So they end up getting my grandma home around 3 in the morning and my mom had still not gone to sleep yet when I talked to her the next day at like 5 that afternoon. Pity thing is we think maybe my grandma might have had some small strokes or has some kind of blockage. She has tingling from head to toe alot all of which she has been hiding from everybody. so say some prayers from my grandma. I hope it is nothing to bad. She is not allowed to drive anymore cause my mom grounded her from her car.
