A man is born to this world of light
To fight loneliness ache
A man that in his own right
Can be the cure for endless pain
As this man lives
The light of a friend is true
Every time he gives
He gives his all to you
Life has a funny mode
Of giving you just what you need
And the proof of this I'm told
Is when it sent this man to me
If you don't know what is being said
Just look into my heart
See a place were not many have tread
And a path only a few can part
You will see a light brighter then most
And a man there leading the way
He may lift a cup in a toast
As it shimmers and all goes grey
Don't fret my dear
Believe me I swear
There is no reason to fear
This Man will always be there
You see once he touches a soul
His mark is there till the end
He will never be let go
He will always be a friend
Do you see it now who this is about
The light of friendship is always true
By now in your mind there should be no doubt
This man I speak of can only be you.
