Reality shows intrigue me. Not for their drama, which I find utterly puke-worthy, but rather for the occasional insights into mentality and culture.
I draw comparisons between shows from other countries and shows in the US.
Last week I was watching Married at First Sight. I couldn't help but notice that most of the men wanted stability and family while most women wanted a travel pet in man form.
The last episode I watched was a revelation. A few of the women confessed to fear of becoming pregnant, and extreme fear of childbirth itself. I can't help but wonder if this is a result of an entertainment industry that sensationalizes child birth as hard and painful.

I am tired.
Allergies are kicking my butt.
My cat Willis had a stroke and I thought she was dying but she appears to be recovering. She is a loud, clingy pain in my butt.
This week is stressing me out.
