I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *677. It was about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren's parents have always told them never to pull over! for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc. *





Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called 677 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.



Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her.

One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.





I never knew about the*677 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe &quiet; place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them (i.e. put on your hazard lights) or call *677 like Lauren did.







Too bad the cell phone companies don't generally give you this little bit of wonderful information.



*Speaking to a service representative at **Bell** Mobility confirmed that *677 was a direct link to POP Dispatch. So, now it's your turn to let your friends ! know about *677.

Rating 10-1 not 1-10



I never thought of doing this.



Where u ever told in class at the beggining of the year that u had an A and that it was up to u to keep the A. :'}



When i first join VR i notice that some people had their own method of rating.

Some of them had the way they rate here in their Journal. And i was like thats crazy. I was like i'll give people a 10 if they deserve a 10 and then i starting giving people 10's. Not everyone of course. Some deserve lower than that. ;(

AHHH If i get a 10 and giving u a 10. Its only fair :)



Now i am force to start this just to be consistent on my ratings..



10-1 "I wont be to0000 strict"



10 - To everyone that has their page looking better than mine hehehe "I dont like to compare"

No seriously to someone that has put enough efford on their page to look really nice.

It doesnt have to be perfect. As long they have put their heart and soul on their page.

Not everyone here knows html or know how to design a page so i am not looking for someone who its trying to show their talents. If they know then that helps but i really do not care.



9- Why rate a nine?. This totally makes no sense. If u are given someone a nine why dont u just give them a 10. When Given a nine its just rude.

I send notes to people who give me a nine. Asking then why.

For example: Some said because I dont like pink. Inst that stupid. Dont let a small thing take over you.

I hope you guys get my point.



8- I dont remember the last time i rate someone a 8. Maybe when i first join.

I'll rate and 8 to someone who has to000 many quizes in their pages. To many can be more than 4. But i expect this person to talk about themselves or have some type of story not just quizes or has a PM.



7- A page that has to000 many quizes. More than 6. But has a story or nice pics or something that i can find interesting.



6- A newbie its getting this from me. I am not rating a page that has less than 20 days. After the 20 days if a page has just a paragraph with a small intro, pics ect or something in those lines. My rate is either a 6 or maybe a 7. Letting them know to send me a note telling me when their page its finish.



5- After the 20 days and the page is empthy with just something that can get my attention.



4- similar to five



3- and 2 Empthy page (Nothing in their page after the 20-30 days) Who knows they can probably design their page after 20 days. Given then the option to help with their page. I'll design a stamp for that.



1- Someone who has been suspended and its not coming back. I prefer not to rate people who are suspended. Someone who's Offensive. Someone who has been a member for a long time and has nothing in their page.



The only reason why i am doing this rating thing is because i been asked too. I PREFER TO JUST GIVE 10's to avoid people asking why i give them lower than a 10. Plus i love the feeling when someone gives me a 10 and i like to share that feeling.



I wish PM members could get more than one stamp to avoid changing the stamp at all times. ;]
