Wow that last line is so poignant . Definitely one of those Ah-ha moments for me..I know this to be true, but sometimes we just got lost and forget our bearings. Thanks for reminding me...

I am so surprised what some people mean by saying they are honest...



just because the words leave your mouth.. Doesn't mean its true...



Like have you ever been a fly on the wall and heard every word they said. But then they became in denial...



When you asked them point blank they lied to you even though you just heard their admittance in a conversation that supposedly didn't exist.



Isnt that just mind blowing?



I think so, but then again, I have become jaded, So I am sure somewhere along the way it was my fault...

I am no wizard on honesty but let me share my experience with you for what it's worth. People don't like getting caught at anything and lying ranks right up there almost #1! Why? B/c I think it strips them of any masks they wear to avoid seeing themselves for what they really are so when they get called on a character defect like dishonesty, they deny it b/c they know it's true but they are what they are and they have to want to change and most don't.



It's like a cobra. You can like it. . . .you can keep it as a friend. . . hell, you can even kiss it once, twice or . ... but on the (nTH) time it WILL bite you and you will die! Why? B/c that is what a cobra does and he cannot change. If you have the expectation that the cobra will be your friend and never bite you b/c you are sure he will change. You are a dead man/woman walking, right now. Me...I don't kiss cobras AND if it even hisses.... I am long gone. Just my take on on those who are not honest with me or hurt me in other ways!
