Next Friday marks the day I will be leaving my job, after 6 years it is time to move onto new opportunities! I feel a little sad and upset about leaving I am sure this feeling will past, I think it is because I have done the same thing for so long I could never see myself doing something else.
My job has become extremely stressful as of late and over the last year or so I have become very down and depressed about it, why stay somewhere that makes you unhappy?
I have been thinking about going back into studying or starting back up with my arts and crafts which is something I thoroughly enjoy and I never find the time to do it anymore! So I am defiantly looking forward to the next few months :)

Best wishes to you. Your question is very true...."Why stay somewhere that makes you unhappy?"
Why continue to be attached to or involved with anything or anyone that makes you unhappy? Life is too short.
Some people feel they have little to no choice but to be unhappy. They feel stuck. I say never give up. Keep searching for a way out and then have the courage to just remove yourself from that source of unhappiness.

Getting insulted by several VR members tonight has really put things more into perspective for me that society really does suck! People will stand by and protect members who are being rude, pervy and harass women on a daily basis on this site and seem to think it is a way they are showing a woman a compliment?
They then sit there and make jokes about being a perv???
So all we should do is just block and not try to do something about it? They will then continue to do this to more women in the community who will then leave the site and it shouldn't be that way.
I am sorry that I am standing up and saying this is not an acceptable way to speak to someone you do not know, whether it be male or female.
As a long standing member of this community I will never self-delete due to peoples comments or insults because I will not be defeated by the bullies and self opinionated morons of VR!

Thank you for standing up and making this post to open some eyes around here. You are spot on too, I known a few Ladies and males too who left this site just for the very reason you are posting about and it should not happen. The ladies here being insulted like this we all need to rally around and go after the person doing this. Please, do not be sorry for giving a damn about the state of this community. We need to step up and start doing something about this. I for one will step up and start helping with this issue.
