Just in case meeper sobers up and tries to delete the entry she posted in the forum today regarding new Madadh recruits; I'd like to add her "ad" to my journal so that I can re-read it when I feel down and blue - hilarious.

Madadh: The Place where dreams come true

Posted: 01:17:38 - Jun 29 2009

Times viewed: 11

Are you under the level of 20 and looking for a great society to join when you hit that pivotal threshold? Are you maybe 20+ but still in the market for a rockin society that will fulfill all of your VR dreams? If so, take a look at the House of Madadh-Alluidh. We are currently recruiting members who are funny, creative, thoughtful, open minded, and generally just nice people. We are a great bunch of people who won’t bite your head off. Maybe a lil nibble on the neck or on the ankles, but that really is just a sign of endearment.

Interested individuals please check out Madadh and contact da Meeper for more information about how you could join the pack of wolves that is Madadh.

The problem with the ad is that I did it with only one cocktail in me. It screams cheese, but I love cheese.

The important question is what cheese does it scream of?

If you’re a girl and aren’t inlove with one of the many vampires that are offered to us on a daily basis within movies and books or tv screens; then there must be something seriously wrong with you. Or with me for giving into the hype. Jury is still out on that one..

It is said that this years Comicon is going to explode with vampire-y goodness and the LA Times doesn’t want us to get lost in such a sea of bliss so they have created a guide; The Girls’ Guide to Comic Con 2009.

Ofcourse the following article might come as bad news; “Physicists Prove That Vampires Could Not Exist” – Either way, we’ll stay true to our obsessions.

The new hyped vampires really don't have the same appeal as some of the older ones. Give me Queen of the Damned or Interview with a Vampire, but I really haven't figured out the intrigue behind Twilight.

Welcome to UFOLand!

Have you ever heard of Raelians?

Wikipedia defines it as such;

“Raëlism, or The Raëlian movement, is a UFO Religion founded by a former French sports-car journalist and test driver named Claude Vorilhon. Followers of the movement, called Raëlians, believe that Vorilhon, or “Raël”, received special knowledge and instruction for mankind from the creators of life on Earth, human-like extraterrestrials called Elohim whose technology enabled them to appear as “angels” or “gods” in the eyes of ancient people. Raëlians believe that previous visitation from Elohim sparked the founding of many major religions humanity knows today.”

Well these lovely individuals are planning on opening an UFOLand – think ET theme park with museums and a huge braingwashing theatre – in Las Vegas!

Don’t you just already know where you’re going to be heading on your next vacation? ;)

It is hilarious and rather freaky that so many people would believe in this sort of absurdity.

I read about them many years back and it's too funny for words.

I stumbled upon pictures of Tim Burton’s “Wonderland” which I’m overly enthusiastic about! I remembered hearing about this jeweler which creates rather Burton-esque jewelery that is worth every penny and totally gorgeous, you should head on over to “Bjorg” jewelery to check out the eccentric jewelery created by very creative artists.

Take the time to view their ad which is displayed when you first enter their website, I adore it!
