Hey! Haven't been around much. Haven't written in my journal all month! So here goes one...
Lots has been happening around here... My Nan lost her house, so she's now living in my house now with my Aunt and Uncle for a while until they find a new house. I had to help move her out of her HUGE FRIGGIN HOUSE at the beginning of the month. I worked my ass off! My sister's boyfriend (who also helped) even called me a 'machine' haha. I guess that's a good thing? Maybe? No? :) I was just happy I could help. We had a deadline we needed to be out of the house by, so everyone was working hard. Started around 8AM, and ended around 10:30PM... so a very, very long day to say the least.
On a lighter note, It's my birthday in technically 7 DAYS! yes!! ... I say technically because it's just after 12:30AM here :) so still another 8 sleeps! Christmas is in 7 sleeps though! Yay! I'm SUCH a Christmas person... :D I love it. Everyone is just so happy. So merry. Tehe. Gets me happy just thinking about it. I love the Christmas lights too. Like on houses. They make me happy. There's this one house in the town I live in - Every year it's the same, but it is absolutely gorgeous. So simple... Just white lights, and a little Christmas tree outside ^^ I'd been waiting for it to go up too. Like since November. Then it did - a week into December :) I drive by it on the way to work. I should take a picture of it sometime... I kind of want to tell the people who own the house how much I like it, but that might be a tad creepy, hahaha :)
My dad wants me to go back to school. I thought the point of taking a year off was to not do schooling, and figure out what I want to do... But whatever dad. I figured out though, that it would be better for me to get another job (like I have been trying to) than to do any schooling because if I do some more highschool courses, it's really just wasting my time, and if I do any College courses, it's just wasting money. So... Yeah. Now I just need to get that job!
I'm sick too now. Just got sick a few days ago. I hope it's not Swine Flu! I didn't get the flu shot, because my dad doesn't like them, or doctors... he thinks soup will save the world. Haha. But yeah, so i'm all stuffed up and now I have a headache (which could be from sitting in front of the computer all day) and my voice is going in and out... It sucks, especially at work!! Ughhh! And I can't swallow pills for some reason... I tried REALLY HARD today, because I don't really want people at work to know I'm sick, because who wants a sick waitress waiting on them? But, alas, I failed miserably. Like usual. I swallowed a pill once. Maybe twice. That's it. I guess I'm afraid of choking on it? Even though I know I probably wouldn't... But oh well. Children's vitamins work sometimes, haha, you just have to take 10x the dose! :(
...But yeah, so that's my month so far...
