The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Ok, so I have a nice list of things I'd like to do this summer.



1. Read the 3 books I have but haven't started yet.

2. Plant flowers with my daughter.

3. Go to the beach at least once every 2 weeks.

4. See a new movie (or at least one we haven't seen yet) every week via Netflix, going out or Redbox. (roughly 17 movies. Should be fun).

5. Take my daughter to the zoo.

6. Take my daughter to the science museum.

7. Help my daughter get over her fear of water. (Or at least try).

8. Paint.

9. Cook on the grill at least once a week.

10. Finally implement the system I've been trying to implement for my coupons. (I know, I know, crazy coupon lady. Haha).



Honestly, I can not wait until Friday night. That's when my summer officially starts!

Watching this show about how magic tricks really work, and there are two things going through my mind.



1. There are some tricks I really, really, REALLY wanna play on my brothers.



2. To be a magician's assistant means you can't have claustrophobia. (The spaces these women have to fit themselves into are beyond tiny!)

I've been trying to figure it out, but I can't. Why the hell do I still keep up with the news?? All I see are stories about children getting bullied (most recently about an autistic child being bullied by his teacher and his teacher's aid), teenagers drinking hand sanitizer to get drunk (wtf?!), a woman's right to have control over her womanhood being all but taken from her (by her I mean all women as a whole), kids dying due to idiots. I mean, come on, people! What is this world coming to??



Sometimes I truly think that people are being hit with a bat made of infectious stupid. Maybe that's why the world is going to hell.





Ugh. I really need to stop reading the news.



On a lighter note, though, I did manage to ace my Astronomy class. Yay! The verdict is still out on my Psych class. I have to take my test by Friday, but barring complete and total failure, I should end up with a high B (which is pretty awesome considering she's a REALLY tough teacher and I'm a full-time mother).



I'm also trying to plan our next full trip to Disney (full as in staying for a few days rather than just a day trip). The Hubs makes fun, sometimes, and I can see why (though I'll never tell him that. Lol). He joked that the second we got back from our first trip that I'd start planning our second. That's pretty much what happened, too. Ha. At least we'll get a Disney fix in in October (for our anniversary and for MNSSHP in lieu of HHN).



Ahh... Ok, random misfiring brain session is over.

I can't help but feel as if this is our year. My little family's year for great things. We've been waiting for this for the past 3 years. 3 years may not seem like a lot, but trust me, it is. I'm just hoping and praying that things continue to go well for us, and I get this feeling that they will.
