Ok so Thursday night was a fucking hell of a great time!!!!Well 90% of the night and day was.I will start at the beginning.We got up early(no surprise on my part)Suddenly Dru has an issue the outfit her Grandmother bought her doesnt fit.So first thing in the morning we have to return the outfit.Now she has nothing to wear.No biggie she finds something quick.We get back to the house and start getting ready for the Concert and also getting the lil guy ready to leave cuz he is spending the time with Dru's "mom".Wow she actually did us a favor...lol.So Dru and i left around 12:30 and got to the arena around 1pm and there were already people waitingto get in.The 10 people that were there were reall fucking cool and we all got along really well.Dru baked in the hot sun which will come into play later on in the night.Around 3 we got hungry and ordered a pizza and had it delivered to the arena where we were and i tipped the guy very well cuz he stopped to get us cups and plates.Everyone ended up giving me some money for pizza slices or soda but i was just taking care of those people that we were hanging out with.So we finally get into the arena around 6:30 and the pat down took an eternity for me because i became mr.pocketman and i had everything and the guy had to look through every cranny.We had floor seats and everyone ran up ahead and i was left behind except for Dru and this lil girl who stood with us.We were at the side of the stage and just one person in front of us.Perfect set up.MCR came on a little after 7:30 and they started off with a bang.I was able to sneak in a disposable cam unfortunately i forgot that there was more than one security guard close to us and he asked me to stop.Actually he asked me for the camera and i told him to go to hell i will just stop.I think it was stupid that 1.they didnt allow disp. cameras and 2.He actually thought i was going to say "Okay,here take my 8 dollar camera."Well MCR was on the second to the last song when people behind us were moshing unfortunately Dru got overheated and started hyperventilating and she had to be pulled over the barrier and taken to the EMT room.She didn't get to see them perform "I'm Not O.K" and neither did i because i fought the wave of "moshers" to get to wherever she was.I think i must have elbows over 60 people in the head.She ended up overheated due to sun poisoning."told you it would come up."So she decided to relax and stay up in the arean area where everything is.Unfortunately she did not want to come back down to watch Greenday and its a shame they put on a brilliant performance.I did not stay for the last song wich was Boulevard on account i wanted to find Dru.She had became friends with the whole security staff.As we walked out we decide to see if we could meet anyone from MCR.Unfortunately all we ran into was a student security guard swearing up and down that no one would show.So what did we do??We waited...till about 12:30 when I see Gerard(lead singer from MCR)walk out .He says hello when he is noticed and i shook his hand and spoke to him for a few while he signed a pic for Dru and I.He is a very laid back guy nothing like i remember him when we were younger.I brought up comics and what stores did he go to.We had a pretty good conversation then he told the crowd that gathered that he wouldnt be able to take pics on account of a meeting he had to be at but he would love to sign all he could.He asked if he could use my pen and i said no problem.I had mentioned if he did anything back in Jersey and he said not really just stay at home.That is the Gerard i remember.Very good guy and took my advice on a comic shop back home.He spoke with everyone he could and gave me back my pen shook my hands 2 more times and told everyone to have a goodnight.Dru =Extatic and overjoyed.So she got her birthday wish and mommy's day gift all rolled up in one.We got home about 3 a.m.
