Well let's see if I haven't bored you to tears yet then you must love torture..lol

Let me see ok, My mom turned 40 exactly 8 days before I was born. I was born in Daytona Beach FL and spent the 1st 2 years of my life there with my mom and biological dad. When I was 2 my mom took me and moved back to SC with her husband (my step-dad). My mom was pagan her whole life , as was her mother and her mothers mother. Sometime during my early years my mother started going to church where she was saved, she made me go with her to every service. Since we are from the south you can imagine what Southern Baptist churches are like. The church she went to was a cross between southern baptist, pentacostal and church of God! In case you don't know what their veiws are let me explain: women were not to wear make up or jewelry, no pants (not even to sleep in) women were not allowed to cut or braid their hair, show their upper arms or shoulders and their hemline on dresses had to come below the knee. Noone was allowed to watch tv, dance, work or buy anything on Sundays. Yes I know very strict. Regardless she held to that faith til she died November 22nd 1997, just a few days away from Thanksgiving. I was 4 months pregnant with my youngest daughter and was having serious problems with my husband at the time and had been planning to leave and divorce him. Anyway, mom never talked about our family much. She never even told me her fathers name, but I do remember her telling me she could see things before they happened, and how she could see ghosts. These talks were rare when I was younger but after she was saved they were non existant. But at least she did tell me about our family and our connection with the dead. It made things much easier for me to know I wasn't alone and helped me to know exaclty how to tell my girls when they started asking questions. She never got to meet her youngest granddaughter and I miss her dearly. She does come to me in my dreams but for some reason I haven't ever seen her while awake like I can do with other spirits. I don't know why that is. Anyway I know noone will ever read this far or even at all so I guess I'm just talking to myself...lol...regardless it's here for all to see.
