Not too long ago, two weeks maybe, a member asked me if I knew what sonik did with the picture. This of course was inadequate information as sonik edited many many pictures of many many people two years ago, including appr. six of me. Communication skills seem to be a privilege of the educated.
So I asked to be more specific. The response was that he did one click on Photoshop. You could read between the lines that this is going to be a typical “I know everything, you’re so dumb conversation.” I kind of figured that we were talking about one picture in my portfolio.
At higher education you learn to credit people for what they have done, regardless whether you are capable of doing it yourself. Even though I already knew most of the things I mentioned in my final thesis at university I still credited over 200 sources on nearly 130 pages.
So I said that it doesn’t matter how many clicks it took him. The point is that he made the picture the way it is now and therefore deserves mentioning (credit) or else people would assume that I did it. Besides, I admire beauty in simplicity more than beauty in complexity.
Today I saw a stamp from this member on the profile of a whelp, asking to be bitten and stalked. There I learnt from another sire that regular whelps can actually bite and stalk.
These are the moments when I feel so inferior among all these brainy people!
