I have always been fond of the poem
"Jabberwocky" from the book Through the looking glass by Lewis Carroll
And here is how it goes.
Jabberwocky
'Twas brilling, and the slithy toves
Did ayre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogroves,
and the momeraths out grabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the JubJub bird, and shun
The fumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought--
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood a while in thought.
And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flamme,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come tom my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
'Twas brilling, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves
And the mome raths outgabe.
Let me know what you think of this poem.
And please no crude comments.

Thats one of the reasons I love it, It is almost utter nonsence but it is still a major poetical work. Which backs up the proff that you do not have to use proper grammar to right poetry....
I do not think the teachers in school should tell you that you have to ... When my 8th grade teacher gave me an f on a poem I wrote because it wasn't "proper grammar" I pulled out this poem... and said "this poem is utter nonsence words and yet you give me an f on a poem just because the words aren't in the right order...???? I ment to portray them in that order ... don't contradict me because I'm different and you just can't think as deeply as I do....." *takes a deep breath* sorry .... *went into rant mode*
