Black and white.
No shades of gray,
No in-betweens
That fade away,
No hues that do not
Look the same.
In this world you stay.
Day and night
No dawn, no noon,
No clouds, no breeze,
No stars, no moon.
There is no never.
There's no soon.
In this world you're doomed.
Wrong and right.
No bad for good,
No acting like,
You never should.
No one can be
Misunderstood.
Yet in this world you would.
Lost in a world inside myself
No one is around.
Silence fills my dead ears
With a invisible sound.
It's a place to run away
From my troubles in the world,
Where I can be detatched
From the problems that've unfurled.
No one can interrupt my peace,
No one can trespass in this place.
I lean back, relaxed and calm,
A soft smile across my face.
Nothing can go wrong
In this muted world of mine.
Worries washed away
In an endless sea of time.
Eventually, I must came back
To the reality outside.
Only to return again
To my retreat where I can hide.
A wire whisk has impaled me,
Blending, churning.
I can't breathe.
It's nauseating, causes hating.
I know what I need...just you.
I bleed for you.
I can't see, can't speak, I'm too weak.
Don't want to feel.
I want to heal.
And yet you hold my heart
With razorblade hands
And kiss the wounds
With lips of salt.
I hate being wrong,
I hate our song,
I hate how you said it'd last so long.
Never trust, it turns to dust.
Don't close your eyes,
Don't hide the lies.
You need to keep your guard up to survive.
