{I Quote: I woke from deathlike sleep to find desolation all around me, but with no Chaos}.

When we seek out solitude we have a purpose in mind, whether it’s finding inner peace or seeking the Voice within. There can be many different variety of reasons behind solitude, but the one key factor is that it is often something sought out or is a decision one has made and usually embraces withdrawing from the world to seek an inner presence.

If a vampire isn't careful, seeking solitude can lead to a sense of loneliness and despair, and being lonely can lead to withdrawing from society and seeking a solitary life, hence back in the shadows.

In which i happen to be quite well at, i have found that i don't need the company of others over the years, i'm a lone wolf sort of speak, and cherish my solitude and embrace it.

I have found out that solitude is a good thing, as is the occasional feeling of isolation and loneliness both are meant to help us become more aware of our own states of mental, emotional, and social health, our surroundings and the people that roam within them.

It makes me more mentally aware of so much more, and the world we live in also the real joy of solitude is learning to relate to myself and hear my inner voice speaking.

I have found that each of us, is alone in the world and that it takes great courage to meet the full force of our own solitude, when you face your solitude, something begins to happen. Gradually, the sense of bleakness changes into a sense of true belonging i find. This is a slow and open ended transition but it is utterly vital in order to come into rhythm with my own individuality.

I believe that my solitude is my strength; to depend on the presence of the crowd is weakness and that a person who needs a mob to nerve him is much more alone than he/she imagines.

For me solitude is the place of purification.

Periods of solitude heighten my self-awareness because the stillness allows me to process my thoughts in peace and darkness, to be cut off from the world that surrounds me.

Allow me to proceed, i have also found that {True wisdom} is only to be found far away from civilization, out in the great solitude, this rhythm of withdrawal and return constitutes the archetypal pattern of all genuine life.

What must be stressed in our own times, however, is the absolute necessity of a period of retreat if this kind of wisdom is to be attained. And as throughout history what was true of the first shamans who departed from their villages questing for visions in the vast primeval wilderness, was later repeated by the ancient rishis of India seeking Enlightenment in the forests.

In being alone i have discovered the smaller and larger silences of life. It is a new life,a life within its self; with more reflection than ambition. Given the lurching about us in the larger world, it helps to make time to try to understand the source and potency of our own evolution.

The first step, detachment or withdrawal, consists in a radical transfer of emphasis from the external to the internal world, macro to microcosm, a retreat from the desperation's of the waste land to the peace of the everlasting realm that is within oneself.

Examine yourself so that you may understand who you are...For whoever has not known himself has known nothing, but whoever has known himself has simultaneously achieved knowledge about the depth of all things.

The retreat of solitude provides a necessary antidote to my compulsive attachment of life. It affords an opportunity for solitude....By withdrawing from the world and its distractions, by stilling the body, detaching from thoughts, dis-identifying with desire and fears.

Quote:{The best art is created in solitude, for good reason: it’s only when we are alone that we can reach into ourselves and find truth, beauty, soul}

I have personally found that essential introspection of myself, focused lets me trust myself, to begin to ask the questions we aren't supposed to ask, to learn to trust our own counsel when the hard decisions count, when all you have is yourself after all, it allows me to experience a new, softer energy of deep awareness and surrender. When I stop speaking and answering life's small silences it invites me to slip into the spaces between and in that i find comfort and sanctuary within myself.
