Taco Bake

Need:



1 - Thawed ground beef, or ground turkey.

1 - Can of corn.

1 - Taco season mix.

1 - Box of plain macaroni elbows, or plain shells.

1 - Cheddar Cheese. (Liquid kind)

Each amount you can increase depending on how many people you are feeding at one sitting. For a single person, they may have left overs for a few meals. Depending on how much they eat.



Cookwares Needed:



1 - Pot. (For holding water.)

1 - Pan. (For cooking the meat and other ingredients.)

2 - Strainers. (One for draining the meat juice, the other for draining the macaroni. Or just one strainer to drain both at different times. Whichever.)

1 - Spatula. (For evenly cooking the meat.)

1 - Spoon. (For stirring the pasta.)



Cooking Order:



1 - Get out the pot and pan.

2 - Fill the pot with water.

3 - Put the pot of water over the stove, and begin to heat it.

4 - Open package of ground beef, or ground turkey.

5 - Place meat into the pan.

6 - Wash hands after handling meat.

7 - Place pan onto the stove and heat it up.

8 - Bring the pot of water to a boil.

9 - After water begins to boil, pour in the macaroni elbows, or shells.

10 - Make sure meat is thoroughly cooked.

11 - Drain the cooked meat to get rid of excess grease.

12 - Open can of corn, taco season, and jar of liquid cheese.

13 - Add the ingredients in step 12 into the thoroughly cooked meat.

14 - Cook contents in the pan thoroughly.

15 - Cook the pasta thoroughly.

16 - Turn off the burner cooking the meat when it's done.

17 - Drain the pasta when it is done cooking. Make sure the burner is off before doing this.

18 - Place pasta back into the pot.

19 - Mix the contents of the pan into the pot.

20 - Stir thoroughly.

21 - Serve as needed.





+I will add the brand of cheese used when I make this dish again. Also, you can add ingredients like bell peppers, onions, ect., if you would like to make the recipe a little different.
