One of the main reasons I hate Fasnacht Day in 76 is all the fucking whining...
"Drop rates are so terrible, it's just not fair, I never get any rare masks."
Ok. Are you like ten years old?
Seriously. Why are these masks so sought after? Because they're fucking rare you fucking idiots. If everyone had them then no one would want them. That's why you try so hard to get them. That's the fucking point. Sucks for you that you've been playing seven years, and don't have one Glowing. I have four that I don't even want, I'd like to trade then for what I really want. Grown-ass adults crying that a video game isn't fair. It really is though. You have just as equal chance of getting a rare as anyone else. The game isn't targeting you, you victim motherfucker. What they should do is make it to where actually participating in the event gives better drop rates. There are people who set their controllers up to AFK the event for hours. Used to be you could nuke the area, killing them all, ruining their whole set up. Good times. Yet another thing Bethesda took all the fun out of, they made the entire area a nuke-safe zone for whatever reason. It's not that the AFKers really bother me, I get that not everyone can spend 8 or 9 hours on a game trying to grind out these stupid masks. But again, make it so actually working the event gives you a better chance at better masks. Give me some incentive to gather beeswax and squirrel intestines.
I had to rage quit out of Dark Souls 2 again... The Shrine Of motherfucking Amana. It's not that it's that difficult of an area. But the fucking magic projectile bitches infuriate me. So tomorrow, once again, I will be killing every single one into extinction xD

I had a level 200 approach me in 76 today... He had been watching me during an event, and he very politely asked me what my build was because, "You were completely destroying those Lost in there."
Ahhh, to share my Fallout wisdom, sit down, sit down...
To be fair, the Lost are basically just Ghouls. So it's not really that impressive to kill them quickly. But. To a level 200... maybe. He said at level 200 he still feels like a newb in game. Yeahhhh, I didn't really get a grasp on my character til like around 250, and even over 1000 I'm still making changes, tweaking now and then. It's crazy because most Fallout games you're level-capped at like 25-30, maybe up to 50, but 76 is really a different game. It's not, but it is. I don't mind giving away my secrets to those who ask, even if you copy my build to the T, which I did send him screenshots of, you need to be able to effectively use it with some skill. Although with the most recent changes I've made, which majorly buffed my health and defense, I'm a lot tankier than I was. With Ricochet you get a 6% chance for bullets to bounce off of you, and back into whoever shot them. I know 6% doesn't sound like much, but it pops off pretty regularly, and also works on explosives which I found out when a giant robot exploded right on top of me xD I also got rid of another Legendary perk, one that gave me 250 fire damage protection. I tested the lack of fire protection out on some fire wielding assaultrons... Not much difference. When I first started 76, fire killed you pretty much instantly, fire and lasers. At some point they majorly nerfed both cause they really don't do much damage anymore. I remember when getting through a missle silo was one of the hardest things in game... Now it's nothing. Bethesda has nerfed just about everything. Except Scorchbeasts... At some point within the last few months, Scorchbeasts got tougher, and when they attack with their energy attack, they tend to spam it now for like 30 seconds. My character can withstand it, but it's annoying, a bit blinding. Of course, my new friend asked me about my power armor set-up... And unfortunately that's the one thing I just can't help with since I still refuse to use it. It's just unnecessary. I have a set that's set up for Raids, but I don't feel compelled to do them. None of the 4-star legendaries peak my interest, most of the armor ones are for PA so why waste my time? For caps? I'm constantly at max caps as it is. Double XP weekend starts Thursday so I know where I'm spending my Valentine's Day. And of course Fasnacht is a week away... I love all the hopeful newbies, "I've never gone through Fasnacht Day, I'm so excited." Get ready for disappointment, 15 solid minutes of complete boredom every hour. But we suffer it for the masks, even I show up for the extremely low chance to receive one of the incredibly rare glowing masks, and this year everyone wants the glowing jackaloupe. If I can get my hands on that it's tradeable for anything. But... it's also a bunny with horns so I might wanna keep it. I'd never wear it, but... A lot of people do the AFK method where they rig their controller to keep them from getting kicked from the server. You need to die, and go to the map for this to be effective, and that's kind of an issue since normally the area is full of Scorched, but during Fasnacht you get these idiots setting up their camps as close as possible, loaded with turrets to kill anything that spawns. I've seen people for weeks now setting up their camps there, good luck getting into a server where there isn't someone already in your spot, afking. If there's one event they should revamp, it's this one, and they have been working on others. The Super Mutants in Eviction Notice are much tougher now compared to others around the Wasteland, and Free Range now has Cattle Rustlers along with many more enemies to kill so I keep hoping maybe they'll fix it up a bit...

I must be really unlucky... cause all the time I've put into 76, and I haven't gotten a single super rare apparel outfit. There are four big ones: Traveling Leather Coat, Responder Fireman Uniform, Tattered Field Jacket, and of course the eternally elusive Red Asylum Uniform. You can get the first three from specific events, even a rare NPC merchant, and all the events I've run, and... nothing. I know they're out there, other people have them. I actually haven't seen anyone in a Red Asylum Uniform in awhile though, possibly a few months. I'm sure I'll see plenty during Fasnacht🙄
Everyone else was losing their shit with PSN down. I'm just like... ok, so I'll play Dark Souls 2, big deal. It's so sluggish though... You really realize how quickly paced Elden Ring fighting is in comparison when you take it back to DS2. One of my main gripes with DS2... When you lock on to an enemy if you go to back away from them your character turns their back to said enemy so if you're attempting to back away, but also swing at them you end up turned around swinging away from them. This is not the case in Elden Ring. In ER when you're locked on to an enemy you continue to face them even if you're backing away unless you hold down the run button, then you'll fully turn away. Let's just say, this mechanic gets me killed in DS2 because I'm so used to how Elden Ring plays, which is obviously going to play better since it's a much newer game. It's just interesting going through DS2 again because it feels like a new game when my muscle memory has molded to Elden Ring. I don't have these issues with Bloodborne though, Elden Ring combat is closer to Bloodborne combat in the pacing.
I'm in 76, in Eviction Notice... And what I've discovered about Eviction Notice is that on the very top of the Radscrubber is the optimal position to be in thus event because you can see almost every enemy coming from every side. If you wanna get shots off on everything, this is where you stand. The issue is that there's really only room for one person to be up there because it's such a small area that when two people are cramped up next to each other you get some character collusion that fucks with VATS, makes it to where the other person's character is blocking you from locking onto enemies. And of course because it's such a perfect spot there's almost always someone who hops up, and tries to take it. I was up there yesterday, I usually get there first for the specific reason of getting in my spot because certain events I have a certain spot I go to. But I also follow a certain sense of etiquette thay says if someone is already in the spot I'd like to be, I go somewhere else. A lot of fuckboys, when seeing you in THEIR spot, will stand right beside you/behind you/on top of you until you move. This doesn't work with me. If you crowd me I will make sure to kill things as quickly as possible, and actively block you until you fuck off. So I was in Eviction Notice yesterday, on top of the Radscrubber alone for the first probably three minutes of the event. Then this level 200 idiot decides he's going to jump up behind me. And of course, my VATS is getting blocked up by his dumbass. So I'm moving around, getting in front of him to try, and get my gun out of his character model so I can actually lock on to the mutants which are swarming. And then he gets on mic, "Bro, go find your own spot."
So I pull out my flamethrower... Hey, bro,, you're on fire😈
I know it's not sporting to kill the lower levels. But sometimes it just feels so good. And to be fair, 76 has the mechanic of another player can't actually kill you unless you attack them back after they attack you first. Dude shouldn't have shot me back. It's entirely his fault~
I then also proceeded to find his camp on the map. Because when you act like that, you deserve to get nuked xD Let's be real, I've nukes for less. Much less.
