Purose:

To locate a fear, but not to banish it. The fear is to be found so as to be faced and concoured in a non-magical/normal manner.

What You Need:

6 blue pillar candles

A blue blanket/sheet/cloth to sit on.

6 white pillar candles

1/4 teaspoon valerian powder

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground corriander

Oil burner and candle

Water

Chalk

Small spoon to mix

Location:

Uncluttered, calming protected space

The Spell

1.

Arrange candles in a circle, alternating candle colour, on the cloth. Sit in the center of the circle.

2.

Draw a pentacle in chalk on the cloth an dplace the oil burner in the center of the star. Light a tealight candle and place a small amount of water in the burner.

3.

Open the candle by lighting the candles, move clockwise and light one at a time.

4.

Add ginger, corriander and valerian, (in that order) to the water whilst saying:

I call upon thee to show,

That which I do not know,

Bring forth the image unto me,

Of that which I can not see.

5.

Stir the mixture with a small spoon whilst saying:

With this magical mix,

Bring it forth, but not to fix,

Once the circle doth become tame,

Return the image to whence it came.

Let it be done, That it hurts no one.

6.

The fear should appear before you in shadow form.

7.

Close the circle by blowing the candles out in the order that they were lit, once the fear has been named and acknowledged
