This a poppet spell for healing designed to improve your own personal health, though you could use it to direct healing energy to other people if you wanted (you'll need their hair though).



White fabric or felt

Sewing stuff (needle, thread, scissors)

A piece of hematite or jade (or both)

Some of the following herbs:

fennel, mint, rosemary, bittersweet, angelica root, St. John's Wort

Strands of your own hair

Blue marker or pen



Make a poppet or small doll out of the white material, sew it up leaving a whole for stuffing. Wrap the strands of hair around the stone, and stuff it into the head of the doll. If the hair is short, don't worry about it, just put the hairs and crystals in the head part together. Stuff the rest of the doll with the herbs, and sew it shut.



In the middle of the chest, draw a circle, then a heart within the circle. Now you have a health charm to leave on your altar or in a quiet spot, until you've gotten over your illness.

Power of 3 Healing Spell

This spells uses the strength of the number 3 to help speed healing of an illness. It's best used when someone is ill, rather than injured. You can use this spell for yourself (if you are well enough to really focus on it) or for someone else. Your spell supplies are:



3 candles (1 each of purple, blue and white)



Myrrh oil

Mint oil

Sandalwood oil

3 pieces of quartz

3 small pieces of paper



Anoint each of the candles with all 3 oils, and set them up in an even triangle shape on your altar. Anoint the stones as well, and place one in front of each candle. Write the name of the ill person on each piece of paper, and place them in the center of the triangle.



Light each candle and focus on the person who is sick. Think about them being healthy and free of their symptoms. Picture them strongly in your mind as the candles burn. Repeat the following three times:



Magick mend and candle burn,

Illness leave and health return



Leave the candles to burn for 3 hours, then snuff them out. Your subject should soon start to improve, but you can add some extra power to your spell if you do the entire ritual for 3 nights in a row rather than just once.

Tarot spells are a less common way of doing a ritual but the imagery of a Tarot card can be a powerful tool in your spells.



Both of these spells require that you have a deck, or at least one card from a Tarot deck but you can use any deck you like.



Tarot Wish Spell



This is a great multi-purpose Tarot spell that can be adapted to just about any intention. You just have to change the focal card to suit your needs.



A Tarot card that represents your wish

One white candle

A piece of clear quartz

White yarn or string



If you're not familiar with the Tarot, you'll have to go online to find a list of meanings for the cards. The Aeclectic Tarot site has a good list though you do have to read through all the cards. Then again, a little extra effort makes your spell more powerful, doesn't it?



Ok, once you have a card, you can begin. Tie the yarn around the card and set it on your altar. Light the candle nearby and hold the crystal in your hand. Focus on the card and what the images on the card represent with regard to your wish (read up on the card so you do actually know what you're looking at). Hold the image of the card in your mind while you speak your wish out loud.



At this point set the stone down on top of the card, and leave the candle burning on your altar. Once the candle is burned down, put the card under your pillow and sleep with it there each night until your wish comes true.



Awhile back I remember someone telling me there was no such thing as using Tarot cards to do spells. I can't remember if it was in the forums or not. But here's a simple Tarot spell, and you can use whatever deck you are comfortable with.
