It has been only three years after hughes’ s death at the hands of Envy. Roy Mustang rose quickly through the military ranks with Rizza Hawkeye at his side. Edward and Alphonse Elric are on the brink of an alternative way to make the philosopher stone, except for one missing piece of the puzzle as always. Winery Rockbells grandmother Pinako is sick with a bacteria that acts similar to that of the black plague but is recovering quickly.
This is the setting for my first fan fic i hope it is enjoyed by the masses, and i apologize in advance for my horrific spelling. if i had to rate this fic it would be M for mature audiences only. I have done the speech in play format because i find it easier to keep track of things.
Rizza walks into the office of Brigadere General Roy Mustang, Black Hayate at her side(hes a military pup now:D).
Rizza(snaping to attention): General Mustang, sir, I have a letter from King
Bradley.
Roy: Let Me see it. (takes letter and opens it)
Rizza: with all due respect sir, may i know what it says?
Roy: It says we are to hold a ball at central, in honer and comemeration of hughes and the Elric’s for their accomlishments and contributions to the military. (As he finishes reading this to hawkeye he laughs a little)
Rizza: would you like me to call them and inform them?
Roy: no i will do it my self. (roy makes a fox grin)
Rizza: Roy why are you grining like that?
Roy not accnologing her question, picks up the phone and begins dailing the number for the elrics hotel room.
Roy: Hello Edward, sorry to tear you away from your studies but i have a very important mission for you and we may even need winerys help on this so if you would be so kind as to pick her up on your way here....... its a mission from king bradley.......you need to be here within the next two weeks.....Alright see you soon elric.
Roy then looks at Rizza.
Roy: Rizza since I know you can’t possibly have a date you shall have the three weeks extra pay, if you go with me to the ball, and your other option is to wear this mini skirt.
Rizza: I’ll go with you to the ball.
Roy: that simple?! no gun, no yelling? are you ok?????
Rizza: I am fine, you can pick me up for dinner before the ball. Permission to leave?
Roy: permission granted (has a Huge smile on his face with a little shock thrown in but he’s not arguing)
...........The Elric Brothers. Ed and Al began picking and packing up what they have. The book keeper, a tall pale woman with long black hair walks over.
Bookkeeper: Edward you may have these books, no one looks at them anyway. Plus, I trust you to do the right thing with your knowlege.
Ed: really? here at least take thi.....
Bookkeeper: NO! i dont want your money. i want you to succed that will be my fulfillment.
Al: but miss samara we should do something for you.
Bookkeeper: make your friends and family happy. i have faith you will find the key to it soon.
Ed: Alright we promise. We will make our friends and familey happy.
Bookkeeper: here are the train tickets you wanted me to get. hurry up or you’ll miss your train.
Ed: thanx so much. we gotta go, bye.
Ed and Al run down the street of this small secluded town to its small train station. the trains horn sounds.
Ed: crap al we are gonna miss the train!
Al: no we’re not.
Al picks his brother up and hops onto the back of the train as it begains to move. the brothers walk in through the back of the train and walk up toward an empty seat. Ed see lust and gluttany in the front of the car.
Ed: Al look its those humuncli.
Al: i wonder what they are doing here.
Ed: we should hide the philosepher stone matireals, we dont want them to get ahold of this stuff.
al puts the pack containing the pholospher stone infromation in side his suit of armor. lust stands up and begains to walk toward the front of the train saying nothing to gluttany who looks very confused.
Gluttany: lust where going?
Lust: stay here little gluttany. be good.
Ed: does that seem weird to you al?
Al: definitaly.
Ed: why dont we get some sleep. we can worry about it earlier.
Al: alright Ed.
they awake when the train comes to a stop at the revidale station.
Al: ed common lets go.
ed: coming al.
they run off the train to winerys house.
ed and al sneak around. al enters through th front door quietly to surprise pinako. whilst ed sneaks in through winerys window figureing winery would be working on her auto mail.
al looks up as he hears a blood curtaling scream and the a thump out side the window, winery comes running down in a towel.
winery: ed, i am gonna kill you!
ed: winery it was an accedent we just wanted to surprise you guys, i
wouldn’t want to see you naked any way.
al: ed be careful what you say.
winery throws her trade mark monkey wrench at his head.
ed: oww (T.T)
al: winery, roy sent us here to get you for an assignment.
winery: but i am not in the military why would they need me?
al: i dont know ask ed he talked to them.
winery glares at ed: alright ed tell me the ‘mission’.
ed: roy wouldn’t tell me, he just said we might need you and told me to
pick you up on the way and said we need to be in central in the next 2
weeks, that was about 5 days ago.
winery yelling to the upstairs: pinako
Pinako walks down: yes winery, oh hello boys, how have you been.
ed & al: good.
pinako: ed why do you have a bump on your head?
ed: ask winery.
winery: “he saw me naked.” Winery looks to the side slightly.
pinako: oh, okay. any way, why did you call me down here.
winery: roy mustang wants me to go to central with ed and al, are you well
enough to be left here alone?
pinako: actually i am, and eds teacher is going through the town to head
to central as well, she will be here tomorrow. mabey I will go to
central with you boys this time.
Al: okay pinako, it will be great fun.
winery: it would help my mind rest knowing you aren’t alone.
Ed: so we stay here till tomorrow.
Al: yup.
winery realising she is still in a towal goes upstairs and changes.
al: what happened ed?
ed: i saw winery changing.
al: so why was she so mad?
ed: she hadnt put any thing on yet.
al: o.O you saw winery naked?!?!?!?!?!
Ed: That is what she just said isn’t it.
ed looks down in shame, blushing a lil.
al: ed are you okay?
ed: yeah. lets go spar.
al: how long?
ed: till teacher gets here.
al: you wanna train that long?
ed: yes, i want to see what i can do when i push myself.
ed and al walk out side. Ed trains untill he passes out from exhaustin.

Chapter 2: the girl
He slides the bike when he comes to the doors hops off with her in his arms walks in and drops her on the couch. enzo comes over and they discuss the situation and other random crap like how drunk enzo got.

she wakes up at 9:00 a.m. this isn’t my bed....crap. she opens her eyes ever so slightly to see the two men dicussing randomness. what am I gonna do?? aw man aw man aw man!!! think think think!! she attempts to hold back a cough but can’t. she coughs an uncomfortably long time and her eyes begain to water a little bit. dante glances over to her “well well sleeping beauty is awake.” He picks up ivory from the table and walks over with his gun pointed at her head. “look up at me” dante said with a cold tone. serena looks up at him when she finishes coughing. what am I going to do.... he has a gun to my head. please be a dream please be a dream!!!!!! A slight blast of energy pushes on dante. his demonic sent picks up on her fear.
“Are you aware of what you are and what you will do?” dante is watching her every move.
her eyes are no longer only watering but now she is crying a little. “what .. *sniff*.. do you mean?”she asked quietly.
he lowers his gun but not his gaurd “you are something called the chosen of life and are going to destroy all life as we know it.” he tilts his head a little waiting for her reaction.
“Dante, It might just be me, but how is a little girl like that supposed do destroy life?” enzo askes staring at her seeming to be entranced by her presence.
“Enzo she’s using a spell to make you feel sorry for her. I don’t think she knows it.” he says back to his parter not once lifting his gaze from her “I am under it to.”
her tears stoped soon after she let what he said calcutate in her head and her face became much more mature and busness like, in a slight growl she askes “number one: I am aware of my spells but not in control of them. number two: I want you to tell me who told you that I would destroy life. That is NOT what the chosen of life does, and I can prove it.”
The moment she stops being afraid the spell over both of them breaks.
enzo in a slightly scared and shaky voice says “Dante, I am going to go and find that paper now...”
Dante aims his gun at her again. “whatever enzo do what you need to.” his attention reterns back to serena “can you do a teleportation spell?”
Serena nods “yes, but You still haven’t told me what I want to know.”
Dante tightens his finger a bit “look I will think about telling you what you want to know but remember this I have a trigger finger, this is my home, And I was hired to kill you so don’t get an attitude with me. And I will allow you to ‘prove’ that to me later, right now you are going to teleport your nececities here so you can change instead of walking around in that skimpy nightgown, not that I’m complaining.” he walks back over to the table and puts
ivory down.
she kneels down and does her spell and makes her canopy bed, dresser, cat; its stuff, archery equipment and boe apper. she picks out a pair of red and black bondege pants and a red and black corset style top then climbs into her canopy bed and closes the curtains. “If you were hired to kill me what is stoping you?” she asked as she is changeing.
He looks at the bed watching her silouette through the curtain. he smirks “I vowed myself to help humans I wont kill one unless I have a viable reason to, expecally not one as atractive as you, I think you need a darker curtain.”
she finishes dressing and moves the curtain “or a less perverted host.”
Dante just shrugs and opens his mouth to say something.
she holds her hand up “yeah yeah I know you know beauty when you see it blah blah blah, look Apperintly I am staying here, right? Right. okay then I am going to need hair dye, I know my friends they will file a missing persons report if they don’t here from me in a week. I will need to use your phone to call two of them to spred basic knowlage of where I am so they don’t freak out. second I think it only right that I find some way of helping out. I know damned well that you hunt demons and I know you know I could get free, so to make it easier on you i will stay of my own free will, but I need to earn my keep, tomorrow I will clean this place up, then I want to help you with your cases.”
Dante raises an eyebrow “look here lady, you can use my phone, but only to tell a few people that your okay; and if you want to clean this place fine. And F.Y.I. if you want to try to run away go right ahead I will just hunt you back down, its what I do or I could always chain you down. Last, I don’t take partners.” He falls back onto his couch.
she rolls her eyes seeing that it will be fun argueeing when she is done calling her friends. “give me a moment and we can discuss the situation.” she picks up the phone and dials her first friends number “hey Kym yeah Its me Serena...... You guys probably wont see me for a while I am taking a break from civilization and am staying at a friends house in the country...... I only called so you guys wouldn’t get worried, call rosa and pass it on have her tell the others too..... okay thanks I have to go...... bye tell everyone I love um... bye” Serena hangs up then calls her moms house “hey mom.... yeah its me... I had to go out of town unexpectedly..... I need you to go to my house..... my room won’t have my bed or dresser I had to take those,my friend picked me up... yeah.... I need you to make sure that my bills are payed.... I should have plenty of money in my accout..... I need you to tell dad I wont have much out side contact.... yes you should be able to leave a messege here or on my pager If some absolute emergincy arises...... okay, thanks mom I have to go.. luv ya bye..”serena hangs up for the last time and looks back at dante who has fallen half asleep. Serena begains getting childish thoughts and finds the kitchen and puts some whiped cream in his hand and tikles his nose... the classic slumber. Dantes nurves react and he hits his face as expected. Serena snickers a little bit as the door opens and enzo enters the building once again.
Enzo wanders in waving the paper in the air “found i......” before he can finish his sentence serena covers his mouth with one hand and puts her finger over her lips as to signal for him to be silent. enzo takes the moment to glance down her shirt when she looks back to see if dante reacted to enzos entry. she lowers her hand and sneaks to dantes side and kneels down. “hey dante A hott chick just walked in the room, shes naked and says she wants to have wild kinky monkey sex with you.” she says and then snickers as he shakes awake.
Dantes mind takes a moment to compute what she just said and looks at her “that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.”
“at least I am not the stupidest thing you’ve ever seen” she comes back still laughing throug her teeth.
Enzo points to dantes nose and the to a mirror. dante looks wipes his face and glares at serena.
“don’t fall asleep in the middle of an argument.” sha says with a shrug.
enzo walks over to dante “ I found the paper and got you another job, Its your favorite type, hunt um down and kill um.”
Serena snatches the paper that speaks about her out of his hands and enzo hands the other one to dante. dante glances at it “ I will take care of it tomorrow.”
she puts the paper on the table “this is bull shit.” serena has a look of discust on her face.
enzo looks at her and whispers under his breath “I personally think your full of it but whatever” dante kicks envo under the table and gives him a scolding look. enzo gives him a ‘I didn’t do anything’ look.
Serena looks at enzo “I may be human but I still have good hearing... mumbler, any way I didn’t say it was bullshit because of what it says about me, I said bullshit because your not the only ones who recevied it.”
Dante looks at her “don’t worry about it all the other bounty hunters around here are lazy, they wont do anything.”
serena smiles at dantes attempt of reashuring her “whatever you say, its late lets all go to sleep.”
Enzo looks down “um... dante you think I can crash here tonight?”
dante glances at him “sure but why?”
“my apartment is evicting me.” his asshament can be heard in his voice.
dante shakes his head “ya know, sometimes i think you are hopless enzo, you take the couch and I will take the floor.”
serena thinks for a moment “dante my bed is a queen size, two can sleep there and one of us can sleep on the couch.”
Dante looks at her and at enzo “no affence enzo but I think I would rather sleep with her, you sleep grope, plus she looks better.”
enzo thinking back to the last time dante acctually liked a girl agrees to the sleeping arragments.
serena looks over at dante “just for your info, according to my friends, I kick and cling in my sleep.”
Dante shrugs “well its a good thing I am a masakist then isn’t it.”
she just kinda stares at him for a moment “I quess It is... I am going to go change now.” she stands up and goes over to her dresser and pulls out a satin night gown, goes to the bathroom and puts it on. dante eyes her and watches her walk over to the bed, staring at her curves and the way the night gown clings to her skin.
enzo nudges him with his elbow and whispers “ hey dude, come out side and talk with me.” dante shakes his head and comes back to reality “okay but we need to do it quick.”
enzo raises an eyebrow “eger are we?”
Dantes eye twitches slightly “no.” he looks over to the bed where serena is lieing down “Hey girly we will be back in a few moments, we are going for a walk.”
“okay” serena replies from behind the curtain.
the boys walk out side and dante leans up against a wall near a window where he can look in at serena ”what is it?”
enzo looks into the window and then back at dante “dude, you like her. don’t let her slip through your fingers.”
dante crosses his arms puts one leg up and leans back more “yeah I do. but what if she is lieing about that chosen of life thing. I can’t go protecting someone who comprimises what I swore to do. What if she does end all life?”
Enzo glares at his friend playfully “does she seem like one who wants to end all life, no. plus I will do some research and If that is the case then we will deal with it when the time comes, but in the mean time don’t ignore hit on her tease her see how far you can go.”
dante looks at his friend “you are a true pervert”
enzo smiles “takes one to know one.”
dante smirks back and starts to head in and enzo follows him.
serena’s head perks up a little bit when dante walks in and motions for her little black kitten to run over to him. The kitten does what she motions to do and lays infrount of him so he will stroke her. Dante looks at the cat and thinks thats a kitten what type of kitten is the size of a grown cat? he picks it up and walks over to serena “what type of cat is this?”
she takes it and smiles as she strokes its head “It is of the wild genre, Its a black panther kitten.”
Dante hops into the bed after removing his jacket, holster, sheath, and boots.”go to sleep, you too kitten.”
She pokes him “you have to go to sleep too, and the cats name is Onex.”
He closes his eyes “who said I was calling the cat kitten?”
“If that was the case then my name Is serena.” she lets the cat go and lays on her side. the cat goes down to her feet and curls into a ball.
Both her and dante fall asleep soon after. when she wakes up dante has already left, but he did leave her a note. Serena walks over and picks it up, it reads “hey, I went to do my job. I will be back soon as I can. -Dante” okay... better clean like I said I would. She begains to rearrange the room and dust, sweep and so forth and so on.

chapter 1: the job
*Bring bring!*
Dante awakes startled by the phone ringing. He kicks a boot at it makeing it come flying at him. He catches the recever in one hand and the phone in the other.
“Devil may cry. what do you want?” Dante sounding anoyed.
“yo Dante its Enzo, meet me at love planet, I got another job for you.” the chubby person on the other line sounds slightly out of breath. (love planet is a stip club in devil may cry 3)
“yeah yeah whatever be there in a bit.” Dante sighs as he hangs up the phone and stands up. He gets dressed with his blood red trench and his tippical boots. He then holsters Ebony and Ivory and slips the rebellion into the stap on his back, He grabs a peice of pizza and takes a bite. He runs out the door, hops on his motorcycle and heads over to the love planet.
Enzo is awaiting Dantes arrivel at a bench seat in side the club, A female hanging on either side of him. Dante enters and imidietly spots his plump partner. Enzo lays back a little. “Dante the jobs on the table.” he nods his head tword his feet which are securly place on beside a paper with a picture, small bio but no name, and reward.
Dante picks it up “enzo its a human. We hunt demons.” he glares at his incolent and almost usless partner as he nussles with the two prostitutes at his sides.
“yeah I know but this ones different, I even did back ground on the dude who hired me, hes legit.”
Dante spins a chair over and sits in it, strataling the back rest, faceing enzo. “tell me her story and I will tell you If its legit.”
enzo cowers unconcesly “okay, she’s supposed to be this thing called the chosen of life, sounds like a good girl right, wrong! She is the chosen of life because if she lives she will end life and bring eternal death, dismay, disaster, and chaos. so we kill her and we presurve life, plus its a two mill bounty.”
Dante looks at the Picture of the girl, she has dyed black hair, green eyes, and a big smile. “Alright, I will take care of it tonight, says she goes to college so she will probubly be asleep.” Dante gets up turns and walks out. “yeah okay bye dante see you later...” enzo whispers as dante walks away.
Dante locates the house in the day light wheil the girl is at school. She lives in an appartment all alone and has no neibors in the immediat building.

“yo, Rina! Whats up, you seem out of it.” A girl says running up behind Serena.
Serena spins around to see her friend Candy. “hey, nothings wrong I am just going to class.”
“”your out of it like you had one of those weirdo feelings you always get.” candy stands in frount of serena with her hands on her hip. “well I have not had a vision or feeling lately so. Nah! ;P” serena pulls her bottom eye lid down and sticks out her tounge. “hey, Rina I am coming over to help you put up you christmas tree today right?” candy stood there with her head slightly askew. “yes, of course you are!”
At the end of the school day candy and serena meet up in the court yard and then drive over to serena’s house. “hey, candy do you have the feeling someone or something is watching us?” serena looked around. “no” candy pushes her freind playfully, “you are sooo weird!”. Serena shrugs “yeah I quess” she gets a big smile on her face and pulls out her house key “C’mon!” candy looks up the stairs “ why do you have to be on the secound floor.” serena shakes her head “live with it.” serenas apartment has stairs to the secound floor after openinng the frount door.

Dante watches the two girls from the foleage. so this is the the girl that is supposed to enialate all life.. hah the only thing she shows is slight psicic ability. whatever , two mill is two mill. Dante continues to watch from the distance untill the secound girl leaves (candy).

the girls put up the tree and serena drive candy home then comes back to her apartment to and goes to sleep, after locking her door.
Dante walks up to the door. they always have to do it the hard way! he takes out a screw driver he generally uses to fix ebony and ivory and unscrews the door knob. upon entering the house he screws it back on and unlocks the door. he searches for her room and finds it easily in her small appartment. he looks at her. shes really hott.. ya know this is gonna suck. he draws his sword and strikes at her but it doesnt hit her a force feild stops him. what the fuck... okay so shes a power house. common ebony and ivory do your stuff. he draws his guns and takes aim then fires the sheild once again reacts and his bullet smashes against it. okay weopons won’t work.... he reaches out to touch her... and the sheild does not react. he goes to snap her neck but even using all his might he cannot manage to move it even the slightist. he then trys to pick her up and can. okay.... I quess you are coming with me. he carrys her to his bike and places her infrount of him as so she will not fall off. He drives her to love planet. when he arrives at the club he picks her up over his shoulder as she is still sleeping. this chick could sleep throu a nuclear war! he enters the bar. one of the women working there walks up to him. “ hey whats wrong with your friend?” Dante looks at her. “oh she just got plastered her boy friend dumped her.” the girl covers her mouth “ oh poor girl, If your looking for enzo hes in his usuall spot.” Dante nods “yeah thanks” he walks over to enzo and lays serena on the bench. “Dude! what are you doing you kill someone then you disposse of the body!” enzo is watching dante. “shes not dead,” he looks at the girl “she just sleeps like a rock.” Enzo pokes her and as a reaction she punches out at him, graving dante and hiting enzo strait in the gut. “nice going enzo, we know she is aggressive.” enzo is rubing his gut, “glad to be of some help.” dante picks her up “I am going back to the office meet me back there” he turns and walks away claimbs on his bike and drives home.
