*EUROPEAN dragonsare found all through europe, and they do not migrate. they seldom venture farther than 25 miles from their lairs.

*THEY ARE MOST ACTIVE DURRING THE DAY.

*THEY ARE DARKER IN COLOR: red, green,

black, and occasionally gold.

*THEY ATTACK WITH A JET OF FLAME.

draco americanus:

This featherd serpent makes its home among the ruined temples of central and south america.



~LINDWORM~

draco serpentalis:

Despite having only two legs and being unable to fly, this dragon can run at great speeds.



~FROST~

draco occ maritimus:

Pure white, or white tinged with blue or pink, this dragon attacks with a fearsom "frosty blast".



~MARSUPIAL~

draco marsupialis:

This largely australasian dragon uses its large back legs to jump after its prey. it can not fly.



~ASIAN LUNG~

draco orientalis:

This is the most common variety of the asian dragons, with large mane and feelers but no wings.



~GARGOUILLE~

Slate grey and green, this dragon perches on trees or buildings. it resembles a gargoyle.



~KNUCKER~

draco troglodytes:

Found in low, damp, marshy locations, these creatures cannot actually fly.



~EUROPEAN~

Perhaps the most well known of the species. this dragon can be red, green, gold or black.



~WYVERN~

draco africanus:

The largest of all dragons. this creature is native to africa. it has two legs and two sets of wings.

*DRACO OCCIDENTALIS MAGNUS- Lair~ a mountin or sea cave. Size~ 45 feet long; 13 to 17 feet high. Coloration~red, green, black, or gold.

Forms of attack~ flame, tail, claws and horns.

Food~ cattle, sheep, humans ( if no other food is available..due to bitter flavor).



When studying dragons in the field, it is necessary to make notes about the differnt species, including their habitat and behaviour.

The Gargouille, DRACO OCCIDENTALIS MINIMUS..

shares its range with the European dragon.

luckily, the two species are easy to tell apart.



*GARGOUILLE- DRACO OCC MINIMUS~ The french gargouille is not a particularly rare dragon, but it can be hard to find. It is camouflaged so that it can hide amog treetops or sits unnoticed atop the walls of castles and cathedrals.

Lair~ Rocky crags or , nowadays, gothic rooftops.

Size~ 15 feet long; 8 to 10 feet high.

Coloration~ slate grey or green. Forms of attack~ ripping with talons, dropping from heights. Food~ rats, bats, and cats.
