WELCOME Therians are categorized as any living or extinct animal that has once existed or still exists on Earth. Although wolves and felines are more common, they are not the only types. It is hypothesized that they are common due to the close connectivity that humans and these types have had with each other throughout history. A therian knows they are physically human, but feels as if a part of their identity is directly tied to a specific animal(s). This part of their identity is referred to as a theriotype. Therians may experience shifts, and are in fact the group that coined the term. Terminology has been invented to describe types of shift, such as phantom shifts and mental shifts. There are also terms for the degree to which a therian experiences shifting, such as contherian and suntherian. Here in this mentorship is a place where any person who considers themself to be Therian or otherkin can come and be at home and not be judged.
