The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Hi, my name is Ava. I am 24 years old and located in Ohio in the USA. I am a full time college student and do my best to live a semi-normal life. Let me begin this by saying I am not a vampire, but ever since I was younger I have had a fascination with them... but not like other females of my age. When everyone else was reading twilight and wanting their fanged white knight who sparkled in the sunlight... I was reading things like Anita Blake Vampire Hunter and rooting for the vampires.

I have been called weird, foolish, twisted... all because I like the darker side. I don't want my white knight... maybe a black knight... but it is what it is right? We can't be something we aren't and I will never be that pink princess and eventually the people in my life will reflect that, and maybe some day I will have the courage to cut out the people who don't accept that.

I do enjoy writing, greatly. I enjoy music, and swimming. There are so many little enjoyments in this world if you let them be there. I have joined virtual worlds and chat rooms, but never quite felt like I fit in because they were still using the vampire world as a way to... I don't know how to describe it. It was all about being sexual with the Twilight lovers and being super strong. I didn't fit in with that crowd so I started going looking for forums and sites where I could have a decent conversation with others who might think the same way I do.

From what I can see so far, this might be the site for that. I really hope so... I'll definitely give it an honest try.
