Azar is a Persian name that means "fire" or "flame".
It holds cultural & historical meaning in Iran, suitably symbolizing light and warmth. Fire is also sacred in ancient Zoroastrianism, & avar derives from an Avestan word atar, representing divine light and truth. It further solidifies its brilliance with its Spanish meanings: opportunity, luck, & destiny.

Aithne, an ancient & rare name of Gaelic & Irish origin, has two meanings: "kernel"/"grain" and "fire"(the former associated with abundance, life and fertility). It's also an alternative spelling of the name Eithne, which was sometimes used as praise for something essential and pure and at times interpretions tied it to the Irish word for "little fire" ("fire", "ardent" & "radiant" were also meanings relating to this name).

Fire is a primary active element[in esoteric/occult traditions]representing divine energy, transformation, willpower, and the spark of higher consciousness. It symbolizes the bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds, acting as both a physical destroyer and a supreme spiritual purifier.
Represented by an upward-pointing triangle (Δ), fire is the great transmuter. In alchemy, it is linked to sulfur and the internal process of changing base matter (or ego) into spiritual gold.

Fire equates to illumination, wisdom, and higher intellect—typified by Prometheus stealing heavenly fire to give to humanity. It is the inner spark of awareness that burns away ignorance. In ceremonial magic and witchcraft, fire corresponds to the power of the Will ("To Will"). It drives action, manifestation, and personal strength. Material fire is viewed as the physical symbol of a deeper, invisible spiritual reality. Many traditions see it as the literal life-force energy animating the cosmos and individual souls.
