Real vampires love Vampire Rave.

Ave , welcome to my lil corner of the rave. Most know me as LadyBloodMoon, yes I have several profiles. I have them for self expression, as well as to help out others in covens and mentorships. This profile is from the heart as it will represent awakenings and transformations along my journey to achieve enlightment.

Real vampires love Vampire Rave.

What is Enlightenment? Enlightenment is person's emergence from his self-imposed nonage..Indeed, enlightenment is transcendent of the individual; the freedom to act grows exponentially with the attaining of enlightenment. Once attained, it reproduces itself in the freedom to act without fear or cowardice which keeps one unenlightened.

Where to begin? I grew up as a child in a small southern town. Ladies were to conduct themselves a certain way, as well as be independant. Southern is to a be strong willed, independant, while representing yourself as a Lady, but be able to whoop ass when needed like a man. To be nurturing and compassionate. To run your household as well as volunteer within community.

Real vampires love Vampire Rave.

As a child I was raised as a southern baptist. With strong family roots, my great grandmother however was more intuned with nature, she was native american. As a child I would brush her long grey hair, as she would tell me about her childhood, and talk with me about the cruelity of men, and teach me some life lessons I would soon come to realize that I would need. She was such a influence in my life.

Growing up, I was never alone, as most would flock to me, every since I could remember strangers felt comfortable talking with me about themselves and their life. I noticed I would have such strong emotions that at times were not my own, I am a Empath, and at times emotions are like ocean waves crashing into me. I had a abilty to help heal others with no clue how or why I could do this.

Real vampires love Vampire Rave.

I also realized the power of my words affected others, sometimes emotions were so deep and overwhelming I felt the need to cut myself, it allowed the emotions to flow out, but with that came something else. I had a desire to taste blood. I noticed how it would make me feel, as well as going to concerts, how crowds made me feel so alive. I didnt understand at that time, but something was awakening within me.

Most go thru awakenings as a teenager, but some supress and dont awaken until later, due to a tragedy in their lives. This is what happened with me. I was in my 30's when my dad passed away, it triggered my awkening, Mine was very harsh and brutal.

Real vampires love Vampire Rave.

I began to remember past lives, as well as senses heightning with my awkening. My first expierence with a sire wasnt a good one, I was used and sired and tossed to fend for myself. I met another kindred who was a father figure to me, he took me under his wing and gave me family and began to teach me.

This awakening was a vampyric one, Mother Night began to watch over and walk and guide me . I joined my sir's house and spent 15 yrs there.

The Black Veil

(A voluntary code of ethics for the Vampyric Groups and Individuals)

1.Discretion
This lifestyle is private and sacred. Respect it as such. Use discretion in who you reveal yourself to, and make certain that your motives are to truly communicate about our culture and to engender understanding. By no means should you talk to others about yourself and our community when your motives are for selfish reasons such as self-promotion, sensationalism, and attention getting. Do not hide from your nature, but never show it off to those who won’t understand.

2.Diversity
Our paths are many, even though the journey we are on is essentially the same. No single one of us has all the answers to who and what we are. Respect everyone’s personal views and practices. We cannot let petty differences of ideology prevent us from maintaining a unified community; there are enough who would attack us from the outside. Our diversity is our strength, Let out differences in viewpoint enrich us but never divide us upon ourselves.

3.Safety
Use sense when indulging in your nature. Do not flaunt what you are in public places. Feed in private and make certain your donors will be discrete about what happens between you. Donors who create rumors and gossip about us are more harm than they’re worth. If you engage in blood-letting, put safety and caution above all other things. Blood-borne diseases are a very real thing, and we cannot risk endangering ourselves or others through irresponsibility. Screen donors carefully, making certain they are in good health both mentally and physically. Never overindulge or get careless. The safety of the entire community rests upon each member’s caution.

4.Control
We cannot and should not deny the darkness within. Yet we should not allow it to control us. If our beast or shadow or dark side is given too much sway, it clouds our judgment, making us a danger even to those we love. Never indulge in pointless violence. Never bring willful harm to those who sustain you. Never feed only for the sake of feeding, and never give over to mindless bloodlust. We are not monsters: we are capable of rational thought and self-control. Celebrate the darkness and let it empower you, but never let it enslave your will.

5.Lifestyle
Live your life as an example to others in the community. We are privileged to be what we are, but power should be accompanied by responsibility and dignity. Explore and make use of your Vampyre nature, but keep it in balance with material demands. Remember: we may be vampyres, but we are still a part of this world. We must live lives like everyone else here, holding jobs, keeping homes, and getting along with our neighbors. Being what we are is not an excuse to not participate in this reality. Rather, it is an obligation to make it a better place for us to be.

6. Family
We are, all of us, a family, and like all families; various members will not always get along. However, respect the greater community when having your disputes. Do not let your individual problems bring emotional strife to the family as a whole. Settle your differences quietly among one another, only seeking out an elder’s aid in meditation when no other solution seems possible. Never bring your private disputes into public places and never draw other family members into the issue by forcing them to take sides. Like any normal family, we should always make an effort to present a stable and unified face to the rest of the world even when things are not perfect between us.

7. Havens
Our havens are safe places where everyone in the community can come socialize. There are also often public places where we are likely to encounter people who don’t understand our ways. We should respect the patrons of these places as we should also respect the owners of the establishments and always be discrete in our behavior. We should never bring private disputes to a haven. We should never initiate violence in a haven. And we should never do or bring anything illegal into a haven, as this reflects badly upon the community as a whole. The haven is the hub of the whole community, and we should respect is as such, supporting it without business and working to improve its name in the scene so that we can always call it home.

8. Territory
The community is extensive and diverse. Every city has a different way of doing things, and a different hierarchy of rule. When entering a new city, you should familiarize yourself with the local community. Seek out the local havens, learn who is who, and show proper respect where it is due. You should not expect to impose your old way of doing things on this new scene. Rather you should adapt to their rules and be glad of their acceptance. Always be on your best behavior when coming to a new city either to visit or to stay. We are all cautious and territorial by nature, and only by making the most positive impression possible will you be accepted and respected in a new community.

9. Responsibility
This lifestyle is not for everyone. Take care in who you choose to bring into it. Those who are mentally or emotionally unstable have no place among us. They are dangerous and unreliable and may betray us in the future. Make certain that those you choose to bring in are mature enough for this burden. Teach them to control and discretion, and make certain that they respect our ways. You will be responsible for their actions, and their behaviors in the community will be reflected back to you.

10. Elders
There are certain members of our community who have established themselves as just and responsible leaders. These are the people who helped establish local communities, who organize havens, and who work to coordinate the networking of the scene. While their word does not have to be law, they should nevertheless be respected. They have greater experience than many others, and usually greater wisdom. Seek these elders out to settle your disputes, to give you guidance and instruction, and to help you establish yourself in the local scene. Appreciate the elders for all they have given you: if it was not for their dedication, the community would not exist as it does now.

11. Donors
Without those who offer themselves body and soul to us, we would be nothing. We cannot be other that what we are, but it is the donors who sustain our nature. For this service, they should be respected. Never mistreat your donors, physically or emotionally. They are not to be manipulated or leeched off of for more than what the freely offer. Never take them for granted. Appreciate them for the companionship and acceptance which they offer us, which so many others would refuse. This above all: appreciate the gift of their life. That communion is sacred. Never fail to treat them as such.

12. Leadership
When you choose to take a position of authority in the community, remember that you do not lead for yourself alone. Leadership is a responsibility, not a privilege. A good leader must set an example for everyone through his actions and behavior. His motives should be selfless and pure, and he should put the interests of the whole community before his own. The best leaders are those who serve to better to community and whose person and behavior gives no one- even those outside of the community - a reason to criticize them.

13. Ideals
Being a Vampyre is not just about feeding upon life.
That is what we do, But not necessarily what we are.
It is our place to represent Darkness in a world blinded by light.
We are about being different and accepting that difference as something that empowers us
And makes us unique.
We are about accepting the Darkness within ourselves and embracing that Darkness to make us whole beings.
We are about celebrating the thresholds: Body and Spirit, Pleasure, Pain, Life and Death.
Our lives should be lived as a message to the world about the beauty of accepting the whole self, of living without guilt and without shame, and celebrating the unique and beautiful essence of every single soul.

Council Principles

1. We practice Rites to attune ourselves with the natural rhythm of life forces marked by the phases of the moon and the seasonal quarters and cross quarters.

2. We recognize that our intelligence gives us a unique responsibility toward our environment. We seek to live in harmony with Nature, in ecological balance offering fulfillment.

3. We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than is apparent to the average person. Because it is far greater than ordinary, it is sometimes called "supernatural," but we see it as lying within that which is naturally potential to all.

4. We conceive of the creative power of the Universe as manifesting through polarity - as masculine and feminine - and believe that this same creative power lives in all people and functions through the interaction of the masculine and feminine. We value neither above the other, knowing each to be supportive of the other. We value sex as pleasure, as the symbol and embodiment of life, and as one of the sources of energies used in magical practice and religious worship.

5. We recognize both outer worlds and inner, or psychological, worlds - sometimes known as the spiritual world, the collective unconsciousness, the Inner Planes, etc. - and we see in the interaction of these two dimensions the basis for paranormal phenomena and magickal exercises. We neglect neither dimension for the other, seeing both as necessary for our fulfillment.

6. We do not recognize any authoritarian hierarchy, but do honor those who teach, respect those who share their greater knowledge and wisdom, and acknowledge those who have courageously given of themselves in leadership.

7. We see religion, magick, and wisdom-in-living as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it - a worldview and philosophy of life that we identify as Witchcraft, the Wiccan Way.

8. Calling oneself a "witch" does not make a Witch - but neither does heredity itself, or the collecting of titles, degrees, and initiations. A Witch seeks to control the forces within him/herself that make life possible in order to live wisely and well, without harm to others, and in harmony with Nature.

9. We acknowledge that it is the affirmation and fulfillment of life, in a continuation of evolution and development of consciousness, that gives meaning to the Universe we know and to our personal role within it.

10. Our only animosity toward Christianity, or toward any other religion or philosophy of life, is to the extent that its institutions have claimed to be "the only way" and have sought to deny freedom to others and to suppress other ways of religious practice and belief.

11. As American Witches, we are not threatened by debates on the history of the Craft, the origins of various terms, or the legitimacy of various aspects of different traditions. We are concerned with our present and our future.

12. We do not accept the concept of "absolute evil," nor do we worship any entity known as "Satan" or "the devil," as defined by the Christian tradition. We do not seek power through the suffering of others, nor do we accept the concept that personal benefit can only be derived from denial to another.

13. We acknowledge that we seek within Nature that which is contributory to our health and well-being.

The Wiccan Rede

Bide the Wiccan laws ye must,
In perfect love and perfect trust.

Live and let live,
Fairly take and fairly give.

Cast the Circle thrice about,
To keep unwelcome spirits out.

To bind the spell every time,
Let the spell be spake in rhyme.

Soft of eye and light of touch,
Speak little, listen much.

Deosil go by the waxing Moon,
Chanting out the Witches rune.

Widdershins go by the waning Moon,
Chanting out the baneful rune.

When the Lady's Moon is new,
Kiss thy hand to her, times two.

When the Moon rides at her peak,
Then your heart's desire seek.

Heed the North wind's mighty gale,
Lock the door and drop the sail.

When the wind comes from the South,
Love will kiss thee on thy mouth.

When the wind blows from the West,
Departed souls will have no rest.

When the wind blows from the East,
Expect the new and set the feast.

Nine woods in the Cauldron go,
Burn them fast and burn them slow.

Elder be thy Lady's tree,
Burn it not or cursed you'll be.

When the Wheel begins to turn,
Let the Beltane fires burn.

When the Wheel has turned to Yule,
Light the Log and the Horned One rules.

Heed ye flower, bush and tree,
By the Lady blessed be.

Where the rippling waters go,
Cast a stone and truth you'll know.

When ye have a true need,
Hearken not to other's greed.

With a fool no season spend,
Lest ye be counted as his friend.

Merry meet and merry part,
Bright the cheeks and warm the heart.

Mind the Threefold Law you should,
Three times bad and three times good.

When misfortune is enow,
Wear the blue star on thy brow.

True in love ever be,
Lest thy lover's false to thee.

These eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill,
An ye harm none, do what ye will.

Over the years I also expierenced angels.. Not the cherub , or micheal landan type, But actual angelic beings. A few in particular that were Fallen angels. Some will call bullshit, but unless you feel them and see them its something most wouldnt understand. They don't ask permission to enter, the just step into the shell of your body with you, to show you what you need to see, or to pass a message.

•The Tree of Life represents the balance and harmony in nature.
•To the Celts, the Tree of Life symbol meant wisdom, strength and a long life.
•The Tree of Life represents rebirth, just as a tree will shed its leaves in the fall, hybernate in the winter, and be “reborn” with new leaves in the spring.
•The Tree of Life unites the upper and lower worlds. Its roots reach deep into the lower world, while its branches grow up to reach the upper world. The trunk of the Tree of Life connects the two worlds to the earth's plane. It is through this connection that gods in the heavens can communicate with people through the Tree of Life.
•The Celts believed they came from the trees, and thus regarded trees as living, magical beings. Trees guarded the land and were a doorway into the spirit world.

Celtic knots are known as endless knots because they don't have a beginning or end. They represent how nature is eternal. Celtic Tree of Life knots represent the roots and branches of a tree woven together without end, showing the continuous cycle of life on earth.

A wolf stands for intelligence, freedom, shrewdness, loyalty, communication, compassion, intuition, friendship, awareness, power, trust, energy, spirituality, and togetherness. When you are lost, a wolf plays the role of a totem animal to show you the correct path and discover yourself.

White Wolf: Signifies empowerment, positive energy, and patience.

Black Wolf: Symbolizes the return of ancestral spirits who are trying to relay important spiritual messages.

Artemis & Diana: Wolf Goddesses of the Woods

Artemis is the Greek Goddess of the hunt, the forest, archery, chastity, and the moon. She was also a protector of women and children and was known to heal women’s injuries and disease. When depicted, Artemis was nearly always shown with animals of some kind – most often with dogs or deer. This is because her domain was the forest, and therefore all wildlife within the forest was under her guidance. This would have included wolves.

Artemis & Wolves

If you are to research Artemis, you will find mostly references to her link with hunting dogs. The greek god Pan gave Artemis a pack of hunting dogs of which Artemis takes seven when she goes hunting. Her connection with the moon serves to tell us that any animal with a draw towards the moon would be favored in Artemis’ eyes. Therefore, wolves, the primal original canines who so love to howl at the moon are also Artemis’ animals.

Diana: Moon and Wolf Goddess

Diana, the Roman Goddess of the Moon, was thought to be Artemis’ Roman equivalent. They had many of the same qualities and attributes including domain over the forest and wildlife therein. Diana was the Roman Goddess of the Moon, just as Artemis was the Greek Goddess of the Moon. She ruled over the woodland creatures, which would include wolves. She was also a protector of women and children. In recent times, wolves have come to be associated with the “primal” or “wild” woman, essentially taking us back to our primitive instincts and intuition. Diana’s inseparable link with women and the fact that she was a wild forest goddess makes her connection with wolves palpable.

Leto: The Original Greek Wolf Goddess

It’s no wonder Artemis is thought to have wolves in her compendium of animal guardians and helpers, as Artemis’ mother in Greek mythology was Leto. Leto was born on the island of Kos and her parents were Titans. Leto had relations with Zeus and gave birth to Artemis and Apollo. She was a goddess of womanhood and motherhood, and thus the birth of Apollo and Artemis are significant to the Leto myth. The legend says that Leto labored for days to deliver the twins Artemis and Apollo – this is related to wolves’ difficult delivery of their young. The journey that Leto took from the Hyperboreoi to Delos took twelve days, which is the time it took for wolves to deliver their young in Greek mythology. This made her one of the Greek wolf goddesses. She might have been the original Greek wolf goddess!

Real vampires love Vampire Rave.

Leto the She-Wolf

Leto was also believed to have had the ability to shift into the form of a wolf. Sometimes she was said to have been a she-wolf and so is linked to Lycia a.k.a. wolf-country. Leto honored and adored wolves because they were thought to have provided her assistance in her times of need.

The Morrigan: Celtic Wolf Goddess

The Morrighan is an ancient Irish (Celtic) goddess of life and death, wisdom, magic, shapeshifting, and war and also one of the Celtic wolf goddesses. She might have originally been three separate goddesses that eventually were merged into a triple-goddess. The Morrighan in her three aspects include Badh, Macha, and Nemain. The Morrighan is almost always seen as a fierce, aggressive goddess with a yearning for blood on the battlefield. She takes no prisoners, and shows little mercy to those who are her enemies. For those she loves – she will do whatever it takes to help them, including shapeshifting into various forms. One of those forms is in the shape of a large grey-red wolf, making her an ancient wolf goddess.

In the Irish epic tale The Cattle Raid of Cooley, the Morrighan takes on many forms in the presence of Cu Chulainn. She trips him while in the form of an eel, then runs all over the cattle in the form of a great wolf. Because the Morrighan is seen as a wild, liberated and independent goddess, it only makes sense that the wolf is one of her animal associations.

Skadi: Goddess of Winter & Wolves

A favorite of the wolf goddesses in ancient Scandinavia was Skadi. Skadi is a Norse Goddess of the Winter and a Giantess. Her plight for revenge against the gods for her father’s death was met with a trick – Odin tricked her into marrying Njord, a god of the sea, instead of Odin’s son, Baldur, of whom Skadi was determined to marry. The two lived together for a short time but the marriage was doomed, as Skadi’s heart was in the mountains and Njord’s was in the sea. Eventually Skadi fell in love with Ulle and they lived in the snowy mountains together.

Skadi often has wolves at her sides, as the Poetic Edda shows. Njord, after returning to the sea from his stay in the mountains with Skadi, mentions how the howling of the wolves kept him awake at night. But Skadi doesn’t mind the howls, she welcomes them. She is one of the wolf pack, and she will forever guard the mountains as her sacred home.

Lycaon: Wolf God of Myth

Lycaon, also known as Arcadia, was a mythological king of Arcadia. There were many Greek myths surrounding Lycaon’s life, but the most popular tells of Zeus turning Lycaon into a wolf after Lycaon tried to trick Zeus. Here again we see the “trickster” archetype alive in the myth of Lycaon who is then turned into the trickster-creature – the wolf. The term lycanthropy is directly related to the name Lycaon, and is a disorder in which a person believes he or she is actually a wolf.

My life has never been the easy road taken, I have expierenced and survived the most cruel of human nature. My life I have to overcome adversity. Most fear what they don't understand. If you don't fit into the small labeled box of society then you must be evil.

I have those who judge me, without ever getting to know whom I am. I have those that aren't ready for the changes happening within. But, thankfully I have those in my life, that walked into it, and stayed no matter what life storm has been thrown, to those souls, I appreciate you beyond words, I love you, and will always support and appreciate and stand with you.

I have had those whom were supposed to love me, abandon me, abuse me. I have had some very hard cruel life lessons along the way.

I have discovered I am not a victim, I am a surviver, what knocks me down, will not keep me down, I will get up, dust myself off, and keep going.
