My soul aches for you
A longing for fate unfulfilled
Without you I wander this path of shadows
Lost in illusion..
The veil of uncertainty
Cloaking me in sorrow

For those of you who are not familiar with my story, I shall give you a brief background as to who I am.

My name is Eris, the Greek Goddess of Strife and Discord. I thrive on contention and rivalry. I relish the notion of celebrating the bloodshed of men. Yes in fact I alone take credit for provoking the Trojan War!

I am hard-hearted and unremorseful, causing war and pestilence merely for fun. Sorrow and mischief come to all men who attempt to cross my path.

I know you.
For centuries, lifetimes,
I have dreamed of this moment
My soul soaring with yours
Throughout space and time

I know you.
We've danced through ages of old
Touching briefly before we're seperated
Each of us embarking on our own path
Lessons to be learned, wisdom to acquire

I KNOW you.
I can trace the outline of your silouhette without ever laying eyes on you.
Your scent permeates my very being until I can breathe of nothing but your devotion to me.
The taste of your kiss lingers on my lips as if it were just yesterday I experienced that sweet bliss.
I can hear your voice on the wind and it's echo resounding within my soul. You whisper my name and the sound is as tangible as my very own skin.

I know you.
I remember now the sadness and longing
Of days gone by.
The memory of loss when you were taken from me.
I know that our time now has come.
The certainty of it fills my heart with joy and peace.
The emptiness within me shall be no more for your love has filled that void.
I know you.
