I'm a proud two time member of House Eternal. My previous profile was Niskuny, but I left for a couple of years and couldn't figure out how to access the old one, so I just made a new one. Before I rejoined House Eternal I was a member of the Coven of Heroes for a very pleasant time. I have very few close friends on here, and I admit I'm a little hard to get to know. Get too pushy trying to create a friendship and I'll back away, don't make enough of an effort and I get offended. What can I say, I'm a combination of too distrustful and overly sensitive.
I’m a writer, photographer, and an avid reader.
I'm a vet former US Navy and while I'm generally a peace lover. I can take care of myself and my loved ones if forced to.
Lost in solitude I wander the dark corridors of my mind
Evil whispers haunt me
Quite laughter entices me
I’m chased by ghosts that won’t stay behind
It is scary here
Never sure weather it will be dark or light
Never sure when the pain will strike
Always plagued with fear
Yet here I stay in this place
Familiar
Safe
Hell
A hell I must stand and face
With envy I watch the world pass me by
I long to enjoy the ride
I long for freedom at last
For peace and safety from the memories of the past
But I’ve grown used to the pain
I fear what will happen if the darkness should wane
It’s my own private hell
It’s strange in here
I don’t want to stay
But I’m too afraid to go
I stand frozen in fear
Wrapped tight in its shell
So here in my hell
This is where I’ll stay
Praying for the darkness to stay
And hoping it will fade away.
