The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

The drawing above was done by me on Thursday, May 14th, 2009, my first time actually trying to use my drawing tablet. I'm not much of an artist, but the image turned out well enough that I'm very proud of it. The initials carved into the tree stand for Silver (me) and Khain (my love). The scene is of a lone tree looming above a forest in the moonlight... Someday I'll revisit this image when I'm a better artist and I will draw it again.

I am not a vampire myself, but I am extremely curious about the community and so long as I don't impose myself or overstep my boundaries, I hope I will remain welcome here. My intentions are to learn and become aware of the vampires, a curious streak that has never once faded since my early youth.

I am a writer, though I have never managed to get past the third chapter of anything I've attempted to write. The greatest weakness of what I write is that my tenses are currently weak. I've swapped from past tense to present for some fun, and changing back is going to be a process. What I write for now are inspired snippets, loosely linked for the time being.

I am quite happily falling in love with my Khain. I have been a friend to him for a precious short amount of time, yet each day I spend learning about him, the more I fall... to be caught securely in his hold. His own passion for me has inspired dreams that have been out of my reach for so long... I almost forgot how to dream. So, fair warning to biters, I will bite back, but my heart is not for sale.

One last note... on the subject of Twilight if you will. I stand by Stephan King's opinion of the author and have not, nor will I read the books past the chapter I attempted already or view the movies.
