I'm a designer and creator of Gothic/ alternative clothing. Most of my designs are based on historic clothing, I started doing this as I live in the middle of know where and was fed up with a lack of alternative clothing shops, when you do find them they are over priced and some times quite shoddily made. So I though make it myself lol.
I'm a cat lover have to be I have a cat magnet, stray's won't leave me alone.
I love history and archeology, I was born with one foot in the past. I like old places, wild places (I have a pet castle, I kid you not)
Love all things Gothic and vampire.
Also art mainly renaissance and Pre- Raphaelite.
My favorite modern artist is Anne Sudworth, She is a British fantasy/ Gothic and you could say Modern pre-raphaelite artist.
Favorite films
well to many to mention really but here's a few The underworld's, the three pirates of the carrib, Interview with the vampire, Night / Day Watch, Plunkett and McLean, Mari Antoinette, Dog soldiers, The abduction club, the Libertine. I also have a soft spot for Hammer Horrors and old Ealing comedy's
Favorite TV
Doctor Who(well it was, with David Tenant, don't like the look of the new one) Torchwood, Buffy, Angel, Sea of Souls,The mighty Boosh, Red Dwarf, True Blood, Historical Drama's loved Cranford and Desperate Romantics recently. My absolute favorite at the moment is Being Human I wish the beeb would make more series of this quality!
Books
well I don't have much time to read but, Anne Rice, Poppy Z Brite, classics- Jane Austin, Oscar Wild, George Elliot, etc. Recently read Perfume by Patrick Suskind, The Infinity Bridge by George Mann and Have just been given the True Blood box set (that will keep me going for a while)
Music
Well I have very eclectic tastes, trad Goth, A bit of bleep, Alternative 80's, Bat Cave, Post punk, some Metal, Classical.
I've been in bands and organized goth club nights in the past, but I'm not up to any thing at the moment.
Oh yes I forgot to mention I'm a vampire.
I would just like to mention I'd rather you did not friend me, if your only doing it for status. I am actually here to hopefully make some real friends so do come and say hello. I don't bite(well not often) ;o)
