Respect is important to me. I believe that if you give respect then you should receive respect. So basically respect me and my opinion and I will respect you and yours, that is just the way it goes. Judge not a person for their views but for their actions.
I come from Celtic and Viking stock which means that I have a temper, drink copious amounts, and like to pillage and burn from time to time.
I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of my life and will probably die here but that isn't a problem because I fucking Love the cold, the rain, and the mountains. I currently live in Seattle in the house that my grandfather built. I relocated to Seattle from Portland, Oregon which is a town renowned for its wonderful bars and awesome night life. I love the city of Portland and although I no longer live there it will always be my home away from home.
When I was in Portland my favorite bar was The River City Saloon but it was closed and is due to be torn down and replaced by condos. Which is a perfect example of why I hate gentrification because it destroys the culture of an area and replaces it with new shiny shit that isn't any good. I hope the people who built those condos realize that they destroyed a Portland landmark. Plus with the current economy those condos won't go up anyway so way to go ass-faces! Sorry for the rant but I feel strongly about the issue at hand.
If I were a vampire I believe that I would be laid-back and have a sense of humor about my undead plight much like the character of Cassidy from The Preacher comic books by Garth Ennis.
My sister is one of the big shots here on Vampire Rave. Although I know her as my big Sister, you might know her here as Sahahria Master Vampire.
I have many passions in life but some of my main passions are Books, Comic Books and Film. I think that as thought provoking mediums these are some of the best you can find. I especially like dark comic books like The Walking Dead, Tales from the Crypt, The Vault of Horror, The Haunt of Fear, Weird Science, Shock SuspenStories, Batman, The Hulk, Anything by Alan Moore, Anything Frank Miller and of course the work of Garth Ennis.
I also have been known to enjoy movies that shock and disturb most people. but instead of listing my favorite movies (which would be an entire webpage in and of itself), I shall instead list my favorite Directors starting with the Grind House / Independent ones:
"Dreadful" Dario Argento, "Frightful" Lucio Fulci, "Body Horror" David Cronenberg, "Genius" George Romero, "Psychadelic Mentor" Alejandro Jodorowsky, "Schlockmeister" Joe D'Amato, "Visionary" David Lynch, "Miracle Worker" Takashi Miike, "Grossout King" Ruggerio Deodato, "Emotional Manipulator" Gaspar Noe, "Baltimore's Own" John Waters, “Brain Seepage” Peter Jackson, "Lewd" Larry Clark, "Harrowing" Harmony Korine, "Mind Games" Michael Haneke, "Perverse" Peter Greenaway, "the Enigmatic" Eli Roth, and “Wonderfully Artistic” Wes Anderson.
I especially LOVE Zombie movies. It is my favorite Horror sub-genre.

Anything Film Noir, Anything by Terry Gilliam, Anything by Akira Kurosawa, Everything by David Fincher, Most Quentin Tarantino, Most Robert Rodriguez, Everything by Edgar Wright, Everything by Martin Scorsese, "The Ever Changing" Coen Brothers, Everything by Darren Aronofsky, Any Zombie Movie and as you can tell I like ALOT of movies so all of films by both of these lists of Directors and Genres don't even cover a half of films out there that I like. I always try to keep an open mind when watching movies and will watch almost anything (within reason) at least once.
