I will always be,
with or without your approval.
I have always been interested in Vampires and will always be so. As a troubled child I was hospitalized for answering a question. "What do you want to be when you grow up, Loralai? If you could be anything at all, what would it be?" I answered truthfully. "I will be a Vampire." The doctor told my mother that her 9 year old had lost touch with reality and needed to be hospitalized, and so I was for over a year. From that day on I hid what I secretly lusted for; The life of, and endless information and lore about Vampires.
As an adult I like to think that I have a very firm grasp on reality. Things have changed since the many years since that day of my being interviewed by a strange doctor that had met me only once. I thank him, because he has forced me to carry my curiosity close to my chest. My curiosity never died. Instead it grew to consume me and mold me into who and what I am today.
I am Loralai. I may or may not be a Vampire. Believe what you will and I will do the same.
