A Li'l something about me..?
It doesn't matter really, I'm complicated and those who know me well, the ones who mean the most in my world... They already know that and they love me for it.
But the basics... I'm a mother. I have an amazing son who has grown into an amazing young man. I'm truly blessed to have been bestowed the gift of motherhood.
I'm a lover and a fighter, meaning I fight for those I love... and I fight hard. Which in turn makes me a no BS kinda gal... I don't take threats lightly, and I abhor shit stirring drama whores. Tread lightly, you have been warned. Keep your nonsense to yourself, and don't try to come between me and mine... You probably already have enough regrets this lifetime.
I am a hopeless romantic as well... and with that being said, I'm the happiest I've ever been. Reconciliation is such a beautiful thing. My soul feels whole again now that my dearest is back home. I love you Soulshroude, always and forever.... and you have my heart and love... unconditionally, as it's always been. Thank you for being my best friend, my lover, companion and most of all... thank you for being you. I can't wait for our plans to be put in place with the New Year.
Slinging drinks to tourists as well as touring them around the most magical city on earth is how I make ends meet. It can be quite demanding and often doesn't leave much time for "fun," but then again... I find myself passing a good time even whilst handling the business end of things... Not to mention, life in New Orleans is very unpredictable... You just never know what to expect moment to moment. "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!"
Living in said city has also fostered a bit of a glitter obsession. However, glitter is a must when you have such things as Carnival / Mardi Gras and parades, parties and festivals for every and any reason possible. I suppose it just adds to my already "sparkling personality." Yes... that is sarcasm you detect, adds to my charm according to most ;)

Into the starry sky, a brightness revealed.
Looking to the Moon, its fullness prevails.
Solstice being upon this Earth, gives solace to humankind.
To this day, we remain... humbled from times long past.
As the world flocks to where feelings of warmth and hospitality:
we go to amass.
Cookies, gingerbread men, a wreathe hanging.
