I watch as the young woman is shown into my den, knowing she is here to interview me for her college paper. Her assignment was to interview someone that she never met but had seen around town, someone that interested her. She picked me. About 5’5”, with a slim athletic build, she wore the typical garb of these days of a flimsy white blouse and a pair of hip hugging jeans. Her honey gold hair would go down to her waist, if it wasn’t put up in a ponytail. Her green eyes taking in her environment, before meeting mine. I smile and gesture to a chair. The beginning of the interview was of the basic questions, where I was born and my upbringing. Those I could answer truthfully but as the interview went on, she was surprised when I responded to her questions about my likes…
“I’m a vampire, I like vampire things,” I stated, watching for her reaction.
Smiling she continued, “Ok then, what other Vampire-like qualities do you have?”
“I generally come alive at night and since I can’t stand the sun that works out perfectly.” He smiles. “I have a vampire’s charm, the ability to charm anyone into doing anything. I can also see into someone’s mind, if I am given the option.”
“Do you drink blood?” Sitting back and putting her hand to her throat unconsciously.
Lordamel smiles. “No my dear. I am what they call a psy vampire. I don’t live off of blood, but on the energy that radiates from people. I only
recently realized that I am a psy vamp, when I became sick and nothing would help. I realized that when I went out into public, I felt better. It took
talking to several people, before I was told what I was.”
“May I ask you about the paintings of the dragons and wolves you have displayed? Are they of some importance to you?”
“They are familiar to me. They were there in my past. When and where I haven’t figured out, but I remember being able to control some of them at one time.”
She smirks and asks, “Tell me the story of how you came to be.”
“Ahhh, child, I have always known that I was a Vampire. I was in a car accident and lost my memory. A few months ago, I met a girl that
I connected well with. She admitted to me that she was having visions and they involved me. As she described her visions, I began to remember. I remembered who I had talked to years ago and what I was. So, as I learned more about myself, my abilities grew. As they grew, I looked for people that could help me understand them and use them properly and I started finding more and more that they were vampire abilities. Then I began to look into reincarnation and my past lives. There I found out, I was once called the King of Chaos and the details of my death.”
“Why did they call you King of Chaos?”
I take a sip of my wine and look at her, she is enthralled with my story. “Because I was once a Vampire King. I had built my kingdom on pain and suffering. I took what I wanted, I was the center of attention. I built an army and set out to conquer as far as the eye could see, until I was betrayed by my best friend and the love of my eternity, my Queen. I died on a battlefield, my whole army watching. I was surrounded with no help close by and as I killed, each person ran their swords through me, as I separated their heads from their bodies. It didn’t matter. I’m not sure how exactly I died, as being run through, isn’t enough to kill a vampire. All I know is here I am, fighting to live again. If you wish to know what happen in my last moments, you will have To ask the two people that planned my demise. I have found them here, in this little community. I seem to connect to those here.”
