I am a tall Strawberry Blonde that loves life and loves to laugh. I love men and hope to have one in my life soon. I am 5'8" and 150lbs . I am 45 years of age and prould of it. I earned every gray hair. Shhhh don't tell anyone. I was born in January so I am a Capricorn and my birthstone is a Garnet.
Am I a vampire? No I am not, but the site is fun and I like it.
I work in Human Resources as a Recruitment Administrator and I reallly enjoy my job. I work in a Warehouse with 750 employees, we are a big place but it is never boring.
There are endless hires and that is part of my duties. I also am in a lot of cases a keeper of the peace, as tempers can flare and you need to be the cool head in the crowd.
Any employees with any type of problem come to me to help get it solved. That is the most important thing I do all day long is helping the employees, for without them I don't have a job.
I sure wish more people in a support department role would realize the employees are the reason they are there at all.
My name is MILD but those are my initials not my personality as you will find out if you talk to me at all.
I lost my fiance 2 years ago October so for that reason I am single. He died of stomach cancer and it was a horrible thing to watch and live through. I almost didn't. I am now ready to get back out there and do some dating, which at my age is a very scary proposition.
I never never want to go through that again. I do have to admit it would be nice to have sex again. OK I admit it would be really really incredible to have sex again.
Ok that is another entire conversation. I saw the look you were hoping for more sex talk weren't you?

As you can see from the Pictures we have a needle type sructure but not nearly as impressive as the ones in the States. It does shoot a flame out of the top though. Tacky but cool during the Flames Hockey Playoffs.
The following are some of my likes for clothing. Not necessarily from the site, but I love some of the stuff that is offered here as well.
Another of my loves in life is books. Yes I am the quintessential bookworm. I love authors like Steven King, John Grisholm, Anne McAffery, Nora Roberts, Anne Rice, Jean Auel and so many more to list here. I was an ugly duckling in junior high school so the Library was my best friend.
I believe the world of Fantasy is an important one, if we are able to leave our troubled lives for a bit and live vicariously through a book or our own imaginations it makes dealing with life's issues all that much easier.
Escapiing to a book doesn't make the problems go away, but who knows you just may come across an idea that will help you overcome your troubles.
My mother was a witch, when being a witch was very very uncool. She read people's tea leaves and she called herself Mrs. D. because it was not quite acceptable back then to be a medium.
I am very proud of who and what my Mom was. She gave me the strength and empowerment to be anything I want to be. The only problem wtih that is now my personality is so strong, no men want me. My friends say you are too strong and you must be coy to catch a man. Firstly I don't want to "Catch" a man like a disease. Secondly, being coy is not my personality, so I would rather be honest about who I am. If they are intimidated so be it.
I have mother's crystal ball but did promise my father never to use it. I have kept that promise.
My mom passed away when I was 21 and I was hardly prepared to lose anything least of all my mother.
My father is another story all together. He was a complete non-believer in anything to do with the occult. Mom changed his mind in a hurry living with her.
Dad had a very secret job in the Armed Forces. We were never allowed to ask what he did exactly or where he was on a trip or how long he would be gone. It can be frustrating as a kid not knowing these things.
Dad died taking those secrets to the grave with him. I asked him at the end if he would tell me, and he said no he couldn't. Dad and I were very close growing up. There is definately some healing that needs to go on, both because of Dad's death and the fact that he is gone forever.
My Sister and I are very very close. She and I consider ourselves survivors of the War.....The war that was our family. You all know the story so I shall not get into it here.
First Album ever purchased was Edgar Winter, They Only Come Out At Night.
The next one was Alice Cooper, Welcome to My Nightmare.
Favourite Movie of all time is definately The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I saw this movie so many times. Every pay weekend Friday, at the Realto Theatre (There wasn't a theatre worse in Ottawa) at Midnight.

This following picture is how I see myself, as a woman warrior with a controlled power. I am so drawn to the strengh in the depiction.
I have a dog, her name is Lucy and she is a Pug/Pomeranian Cross. She is cute as a devil and was hit by a car before I adopted her. She was abandoned and had huge separation anxiety to overcome. We are working on it together and she is not the same dog I picked up 2 years ago.
Her Vet agrees there has been a miraculous change in Lucy and that is the raw diet I feed her. If you want more info just ask.
My Sister is TIGGER and I am PIGLET. We have been calling each other that since I could talk basically. We have a lot of fun and my sister is the one I can laugh my ass off with and only she knows why.
This little guy just cracks me up, not sure why.
I just remembered as a child of 10/11 watching a lot of Vincent Price movies. I wanted to write him a letter and tell him how much I enjoyed him in all those old films. I was a bit mature for my age. I do know I know every word to the dissertation by Vincent Price in the song Black Widow on Welcome to my nightmare, Alice Cooper.

I have to tell you about a club I belong to. It is called the "All About Me Club" 12 of us meet monthly and there is a draw of 2 names. We each bring $50.00 cash to each month. The 2 names drawn each get $300.00 to take home that night. They must spend it on themselves, not bills, not kids, not home items but things for them.
We choose a theme for the food and an activity each month. The 2 that won the previous month put on the next month and must show their purchases to the group and submit receipts.
Those that have won do not go back in the draw until all have won.
We sure have a lot of fun and it gives a chance to buy something we would probably never buy for ourselves.

I have an annoucement. I will be moving this Friday April 28, 2006 and my computer will be packed for a while. I will be back to help my house as soon as I can. A new life starts for me in 3 Days and I am so excited. Wish me luck!!!
I have been in Edmonton now for 2.5 months and I am very happy. I am job hunting bigtime and something should happen quickly. Otherwise I love it. There are things to do here and my sis and I are happier. We had a tough time with the move but we will make it trhough somehow.
I am so happy to be back. Hope to catch up with all my fellow house members soon.
