Websites Quote: ~Dont Take Kindness For Weekness~
Vampyrism is not a simple path to adhere to for everyone.
Vampyres are born dark and experience childhood differently than non vampyres.
They are in touch with their dark side but too often are confused until a deeper understanding of who they are comes into focus.
There are many aspects of Vampyres.
There are those who relate to the ideals and values of a never ending life, immortality, power, the ability to transform and control elements, combining vague facts or fantasy into their lives, creating a mythical Vampyre.
These vampire humans are in search of themselves and need to be encouraged to delve deeper to find the true meanings that await them.
True Vampyres.
Vampyres do not view themselves as humans, because we are not human in all terms, true Vampyres see humans as the weak strain, full of emotions that drain away at them, wandering around like sheep in a field waiting to be herded into a flock.
Vampyres see humans as prey and life force.
We are the darkness of nature, strong and beautiful.
Emotional Balance
Vampyres look upon themselves as "GODS"; there is nothing above us, only beneath.
We kneel before our make shift altars in obtaining growth and enlightenment of true darkness.
We invoke and conjure powers in various forms for development and attainment of advancement.
We dedicate our selves to ourselves.
During advanced training, human emotions are a hindrance to the true Vampyre; they create confusion and too often get in the way of reaching the desired goal. Total focus and strength is needed during ritual work. Moral values that are instilled in us since early childhood should be cast away; Vampyres are not guided by these moral issues, as they are considered part of the weakness of humans, and have no impact on a Vampyre.
This advanced training is highly regarded as the initial step into being an Adept Vampyre, the combinations of ritual work, developing psychic strength, pushing one self to the very limits, as well as testing these developments in and outwardly is only part of the rigid training that slowly builds the character needed for the Vampyre Adept.
Who am I? What am I? Becareful of the answers you seek. What I am, Is perceived as evil by those who dont understand. What I choose to share, will be with those I see worthy, or My Kindred. This much I will tell you.
For those whom are curious. My name is Nikki. My soul have seen several lifetimes. Most know me as LadyBloodMoon .
What am I? Im a Daughter, Mother, Sister, friend. As well as a witch, I study Wicca for the most part, but open to all types of Magick.I am a sanguine vampyre.I am a real being, not a hollywood version of vampyrism.
SANGUINE vampires (or sanguinarians) are vampires who feed by drinking blood. However, it is not the blood itself that they are feeding on. It is the life-force energy contained within the blood. Blood drinking is arguably the most potent form of feeding on life-force energy, and many sanguinarians can thrive for many weeks from a single feeding. (A single feeding is often about an ounce or two of blood taken from a willing donor.) Sanguinarians often describe blood drinking as a very fulfilling, very powerful and somewhat intoxicating experience. It also tends to be a rather intimate form of feed
I will treat you with the upmost respect, as long as you treat me the same.I dont have the patience I once had.If you would like to talk, Im always open for discussions and friendly conversations. If your hear to cause problems or judge me, or say you dont beleive in what I am, best thing you can do, is leave my page and never come back.
There are several layers to this soul, what I can mean to you, only time shall tell. Trust dont come easy anymore. I tired of the games, lies, and those that use for
personal gain. If you desire to truly know me, it takes time
If I give you my friendship, It is forever. I am a loyal soul whom shall stand by you. If I give you my heart, my love... Then I shall love you till my last breath.
If you cross me, Tis the same ... I shall hate till my dying day. I dont pretend, and I dont play. This soul has had enough, Standing tall, battered and bruised.I will follow thru with what I am meant to do.
I walk all three roads along my path, so if you ever need a shoulder, im always around.Im a pretty open soul, if there is anything you wish to know just ask.
To the men reading this, I can befriend you, feed off you, tolerate you for a snack, or amusement. To very few I may even love you, but you hurt or betray me, I will rip your beating heart from your chest, and suck the blood from it, as I watch you gasp and die....I dont tolerate B.S.
I find my desire to beat and taste flesh continues to grow. This soul is centuries old, and with it is a dark primal nature.
What are the symptoms of vampirism?
I personally, and some others, dislike the term symptoms when referring to vampirism as it makes vampirism sound like some kind of disease or illness, which it is not. Some also refer to vampirism as a condition or energy deficiency, but I personally, and some others, frown upon those terms as well, because it gives vampirism a negative connotation.
No one knows nor has been able to determine what causes vampirism. The leading theory is that vampirism may be a combination of genetic, physiological and metaphysical causes. One will often see vampirism referred to as a condition, and then compared to some other physiological conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
I personally prefer to refer to symptoms of vampirism as vampiric traits, characteristics and abilities. However, possessing any or all of these traits, characteristics and abilities does not make one a vampire as many of these same traits, characteristics and abilities can be accounted for by other reasons. All other explanations (i.e., medical, psychological, environmental, etc.) should be explored before assuming that one has those traits due to vampirism.
The key factor in determining if one is a vampire is going to be if one has a genuine need for life-force energies from outside sources and their traits, characteristics and abilities are tied to their vampirism. Also, not all vampires will have all traits, characteristics and abilities. Each individual vampire is different and may have different traits, characteristics and abilities from each other. Just as every individual is different, every vampire is different. Some will have more abilities than others. Some will have more limitations than others.
Physical characteristics:
Pale skin
Sensitivity to sunlight physically (i.e., sunburn easily) and/or visually
Visual sensitivity to any light source
Better night vision than day vision
Eye color changing with mood or for no apparent reason
Heightened senses
Unaccounted-for strength (i.e., stronger than one should be without working out) and quick reflexes
Often feels hungry and/or thirsty despite an adequate food diet
Extreme cravings for certain types of food or extreme cravings that can not be satisfied with food
Often feel run down, fatigued, tired despite an adequate food diet and activity level
Frequent headaches for no apparent reason
Does not require very much sleep
Able to heal quicker than others
Often get sick with "flu-like" symptoms with no medical explanation when they go without feeding for a period of time
Mental characteristics:
Strong-willed; independent nature; confident
Intellectual/highly intelligent
Well-learned/educated, although not necessarily school-educated
Predatory nature
Dark nature
Prefers nighttime over daytime; i.e., nocturnal nature
Moodiness/mood swings/quick-tempered
Mental and/or personality disorders (diagnosed by a medical doctor)
Psychic abilities (although not necessarily psychic feeding methods) and metaphysical characteristics:
Empathy
Telepathy
Mind reading
See and read auras
Extra-sensory perception (ESP)
Clairaudience, being able to mentally hear things from a distance
Clairvoyance, being able to mentally see things from a distance
Clairsentience, having knowledge that one can not explain
Audiovoyance, being able to see and/or hear spirits and possibly communicate with them
Telekinesis
Pyrokinesis
Astral travel/astral projection
Psychometry
Invisibility, although not as in the Invisible Man kind of invisibility; the kind of invisibility where one can blend into a setting, room and/or crowd, and not be noticed by anyone looking for them.
Precognition/visions
Past-life memories, especially vampiric past-life memories
Immortal soul and a belief in reincarnation
Experience déjà vu quite frequently
Able to sense other vampires (often referred to as "vamp radar")
Involved in "alternative" religions (such as pagan, Wiccan, satanic, etc.) or have "alternative" spiritual beliefs
Most are either born vampires or experience an awakening to their vampiric nature later in life, usually in their teen years but it can happen later in life
The above lists are not all-inclusive lists, as I may have missed some characteristics and abilities, but those are the ones that I could think of at this time. These lists of vampire characteristics and traits should not be used as a checklist to determine if one is a vampire.
The Black Veil
The Black Veil
(A code of ethics for the Vampyric Groups and Individuals)
1.Discretion
This lifestyle is private and sacred. Respect it as such. Use discretion in who you reveal yourself to, and make certain that your motives are to truly communicate about our culture and to engender understanding. By no means should you talk to others about yourself and our community when your motives are for selfish reasons such as self-promotion, sensationalism, and attention getting. Do not hide from your nature, but never show it off to those who won’t understand.
2.Diversity
Our paths are many, even though the journey we are on is essentially the same. No single one of us has all the answers to who and what we are. Respect everyone’s personal views and practices. We cannot let petty differences of ideology prevent us from maintaining a unified community; there are enough who would attack us from the outside. Our diversity is our strength, Let out differences in viewpoint enrich us but never divide us upon ourselves.
3.Safety
Use sense when indulging in your nature. Do not flaunt what you are in public places. Feed in private and make certain your donors will be discrete about what happens between you. Donors who create rumors and gossip about us are more harm than they’re worth. If you engage in blood-letting, put safety and caution above all other things. Blood-borne diseases are a very real thing, and we cannot risk endangering ourselves or others through irresponsibility. Screen donors carefully, making certain they are in good health both mentally and physically. Never overindulge or get careless. The safety of the entire community rests upon each member’s caution.
4.Control
We cannot and should not deny the darkness within. Yet we should not allow it to control us. If our beast or shadow or dark side is given too much sway, it clouds our judgment, making us a danger even to those we love. Never indulge in pointless violence. Never bring willful harm to those who sustain you. Never feed only for the sake of feeding, and never give over to mindless blood lust. We are not monsters: we are capable of rational thought and self-control. Celebrate the darkness and let it empower you, but never let it enslave your will.
5.Lifestyle
Live your life as an example to others in the community. We are privileged to be what we are, but power should be accompanied by responsibility and dignity. Explore and make use of your Vampyre nature, but keep it in balance with material demands. Remember: we may be vampyres, but we are still a part of this world. We must live lives like everyone else here, holding jobs, keeping homes, and getting along with our neighbors. Being what we are is not an excuse to not participate in this reality. Rather, it is an obligation to make it a better place for us to be.
6. Family
We are, all of us, a family, and like all families; various members will not always get along. However, respect the greater community when having your disputes. Do not let your individual problems bring emotional strife to the family as a whole. Settle your differences quietly among one another, only seeking out an elder’s aid in meditation when no other solution seems possible. Never bring your private disputes into public places and never draw other family members into the issue by forcing them to take sides. Like any normal family, we should always make an effort to present a stable and unified face to the rest of the world even when things are not perfect between us.
7. Havens
Our havens are safe places where everyone in the community can come socialize. There are also often public places where we are likely to encounter people who don’t understand our ways. We should respect the patrons of these places as we should also respect the owners of the establishments and always be discrete in our behavior. We should never bring private disputes to a haven. We should never initiate violence in a haven. And we should never do or bring anything illegal into a haven, as this reflects badly upon the community as a whole. The haven is the hub of the whole community, and we should respect is as such, supporting it without business and working to improve its name in the scene so that we can always call it home.
8. Territory
The community is extensive and diverse. Every city has a different way of doing things, and a different hierarchy of rule. When entering a new city, you should familiarize yourself with the local community. Seek out the local havens, learn who is who, and show proper respect where it is due. You should not expect to impose your old way of doing things on this new scene. Rather you should adapt to their rules and be glad of their acceptance. Always be on your best behavior when coming to a new city either to visit or to stay. We are all cautious and territorial by nature, and only by making the most positive impression possible will you be accepted and respected in a new community.
9. Responsibility
This lifestyle is not for everyone. Take care in who you choose to bring into it. Those who are mentally or emotionally unstable have no place among us. They are dangerous and unreliable and may betray us in the future. Make certain that those you choose to bring in are mature enough for this burden. Teach them to control and discretion, and make certain that they respect our ways. You will be responsible for their actions, and their behaviors in the community will be reflected back to you.
10. Elders
There are certain members of our community who have established themselves as just and responsible leaders. These are the people who helped establish local communities, who organize havens, and who work to coordinate the networking of the scene. While their word does not have to be law, they should nevertheless be respected. They have greater experience than many others, and usually greater wisdom. Seek these elders out to settle your disputes, to give you guidance and instruction, and to help you establish yourself in the local scene. Appreciate the elders for all they have given you: if it was not for their dedication, the community would not exist as it does now.
11. Donors
Without those who offer themselves body and soul to us, we would be nothing. We cannot be other that what we are, but it is the donors who sustain our nature. For this service, they should be respected. Never mistreat your donors, physically or emotionally. They are not to be manipulated or leeched off of for more than what the freely offer. Never take them for granted. Appreciate them for the companionship and acceptance which they offer us, which so many others would refuse. This above all: appreciate the gift of their life. That communion is sacred. Never fail to treat them as such.
12. Leadership
When you choose to take a position of authority in the community, remember that you do not lead for yourself alone. Leadership is a responsibility, not a privilege. A good leader must set an example for everyone through his actions and behavior. His motives should be selfless and pure, and he should put the interests of the whole community before his own. The best leaders are those who serve to better to community and whose person and behavior gives no one- even those outside of the community - a reason to criticize them.
13. Ideals
Being a Vampyre is not just about feeding upon life.
That is what we do, But not necessarily what we are.
It is our place to represent Darkness in a world blinded by light.
We are about being different and accepting that difference as something that empowers us
And makes us unique.
We are about accepting the Darkness within ourselves and embracing that Darkness to make us whole beings.
We are about celebrating the thresholds: Body and Spirit, Pleasure, Pain, Life and Death.
Our lives should be lived as a message to the world about the beauty of accepting the whole self, of living without guilt and without shame, and celebrating the unique and beautiful essence of every single soul.

~ HISTORY Of The Black Veil~
The initial version of the Black Veil was originally written in late 1996 by the first Synod and Father as the code of conduct for the Gotham Halo’s first Noir Haven, the Long Black Veil, and the members of Clan SABRETOOTH. The first edi-tions of the Black Veil were based on a mix of the fetish scene’s codes of conduct from the Eulenspiegal Society (TES) and the elegance of Renaissance Faire etiquette, as well as containing elements of chivalry and Romantic overtones in order to raise the Vampyre Glamour. Over time, several revisions and drafts of the Black Veil were created, the most notable being the 13 Rules of the Vamp Community edition by Michelle Belanger, and the revision of an edition by Lady Melanie. These versions of the Black Veil were highly influenced by the role-playing game Vampire the Masquerade, from which the vampire community drew upon in these early years for terminology and community structure. Many different groups and individuals within the vampire subculture have created their own variations on the Black Veil, including the 7 Ethics of the Vampire Community, a revision of Michelle Belanger’s earlier version. This revision was endorsed by the Synod in order to create an edition of the Black Veil that would accommodate all those outside the San-guinarium in the “vampire community.” However, the current Strigoi Vii Black Veil presented here represents the fundamen-tal core ethics of the original Black Veil. It is the final version of the Black Veil embraced and endorsed by the Strigoi Vii and the Sanguinarium.
Why are there so many different versions of this text, and what makes this edition the most useful? From the perspective of the Strigoi Vii, the other editions of the Black Veil have high merit; however, they have not fully captured or expressed in words how to avoid potential liabilities faced in the tangible Dayside realities of the everyday world. As well, many of the earlier versions of the Black Veil are now quite out of date. Contemporary Dayside reality must be addressed in order to ensure the security and prosperity of the Family. It is unwise and self-defeating for a Strigoi Vii or Black Swan to betray themself by violating the common sense of these Principles. These simple guidelines should not be seen as restricting, but instead as empowering, as they offer Us with the means to ex-ist and thrive responsibly and judiciously within mundane society.
If a Strigoi Vii violates the Black Veil, they will suffer not only obvious consequences within the Sanguinarium and amongst the Family, but, most importantly, a condition of negative Zhep’r known as khaskt, which means “loss of opportunity.” In effect, those who violate the Veil are robbing themselves of their own Zhep’r and actually reversing their opportunity for Immortality of the Self. Khaskt can be seen as the Strigoi Vii equivalent of negative karma. Yet it is much more potent for those attuned to the Current of Elorath through Initiation, or by employing the Mysteries on any level.
Strigoi Vii promotes social responsibility and recognizes that the consequences of Our actions may have various, often nega-tive, repercussions as We become more visible to the mundane world. Those who proudly bear the Legacy Ankh close to their hearts, be they Strigoi Vii or Black Swan, make the statement that they are in agreement with the Principles of the Strigoi Vii Black Veil. These Principles are innate common sense for the responsible members of Our Family. The Black Veil gives Us the freedom and foundation to live and thrive within mundane society without offending or placing fear into Our Source.
1ST PRINCIPLE: MUNDANE LAW
Strigoi Vii are not criminals.
Adherence to the laws of Our local governments, even if We disagree with them, is essential to provide Us with the freedom to explore Our nature. Criminal or illegal behavior is greatly condemned within Strigoi Vii culture. By this We do not refer to minor legal infractions such as parking violations. We are referring to serious crimes such as drug dealing, murder, rape, assault, theft, etc. Strigoi Vii are free-spirited and individualis-tic. However, all Strigoi Vii are expected to act with common sense and practice social responsibility. It is the duty of every Strigoi Vii to conduct themselves in a manner that will not bring negative consequences upon the Family.
2ND PRINCIPLE: RESPONSIBILITY
Strigoi Vii are adults.
We must honor the need for minors to establish a skeptical, objective, and rational Dayside foundation before exploring and embracing the Nightside. Those who have not reached the age of majority (eighteen in the United States) must not be encouraged or permitted to explore Our Mysteries, participate in Vampyre ritual, or enter Our Sanctums under any condi-tions. Thus no minor shall ever be involved in Strigoi Vii, either privately or publicly, until they come of age.
Those children curious about Our Mysteries should explore the basics of yoga, quantum physics, theology, paganism, magick, Reiki, martial arts, and the works of philosophers such as Charles Darwin, Frederick Nietzsche, and Ayn Rand. This way they build a solid foundation that shall better prepare them to pursue Zhep’r upon coming of age.
3RD PRINCIPLE: METAPHOR OF BLOOD
Strigoi Vii See Blood as a Metaphor for something far more subtle.
From the perspective of the Strigoi Vii, the Art of Vampyrism occurs purely on a subtle energetic level and thus Strigoi Vii are not drinkers of corporeal, physical blood for tapping ener-gies. The word “Blood” with a capital letter “B” is merely a metaphorical term for the subtle vital life-force better known as Prana in Sanskrit, chi in Chinese medicine, or ki in Japanese martial arts. The term “Sanguine” symbolizes the spiritual Current and Blood (heritage) of the Family. To satisfy Our spiritual hunger and desire for Zhep’r, We practice other, more subtle forms of absorbing energy, which We find much more efficient and pertinent to Our Mysteries. On a Dayside level, the decision not to drink blood leads to a clear avoidance of legal liabilities and health risks such as blood-borne dis-eases, including Hepatitis, Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, and many more.
4TH PRINCIPLE: CURRENT & QUEST
The Strigoi Vii have a unified cause – the Current and the Quest
The Current is the “Blood” that is the signature of Our Family. The collective duty of all Strigoi Vii is the Quest of Family. We must search out those with potential to Awaken, yet who are not aware of their potential. However, We never force a Potential to follow Our way, as Vampyres are not mindless followers. Potentials must be allowed to come to the Family in their own way and in their own time. The Strigoi Vii should always use one of the proven tools for supporting the Quest of Family, as to not degrade Our Mysteries. Give the Seeker a hint, let them feel the Calling, and come when and if they are ready. Never support or join an organization or individual that actively opposes the Family or Our Quest. Never enter into debates with the mortal minded or try to convert them to Our ways, as such behavior is in conflict with the Glamour and a waste of time and energy. Betraying the Quest of Family is not only betraying the Family: It is betraying yourself.
5TH PRINCIPLE: SECRETS
The Strigoi Vii is an open secret, hidden in plain sight.
Secrets protect and bind Us. Our Mysteries are Our own, and those who wish to explore them should seek them out alone, through personal initiative and action. As a sleight of hand magician would employ the principle of “hidden in plain sight,” so does the Living Vampyre.
Here follow three examples of the Black Veil Principle of Se-crets. Firstly, take example from the Magisters. Honor your Sorors’ and Fraters’ right of privacy, such as in respect to their mundane identity. Never disclose their personal information to anyone, especially to the mortal-minded, but even to other Family members, without their explicit permission. The only circumstance under which the Synod would disclose the given name and identity of any Strigoi Vii is if such information was required under the legal jurisdiction of the proper authorities.
Secondly, public discussion of Strigoi Vii and the Mysteries outside of the Sanctums, such as with the media, on social networking websites, in public, or with those not of the Blood, is an obvious violation of this Principle. At all times speak only for yourself, and never represent the greater Family out-side of the guidelines of the Quest of Family. Leave that to those select members of the Priesthood who are properly trained in public relations. Supporting this Principle furthers the Glamour and protects Our Mysteries.
Finally, one of the most important aspects of this principle of the Black Veil is avoiding discussion of the Mysteries with someone who has not had the opportunity to read Sanguinomicon and reflect upon the contents. Respect free will, and let Seekers gain a first impression of the Mysteries and formulate an opinion on their own. When an individual has the opportunity to read a text, they shall draw their own conclusions, whilst if you tell them about it, they will more likely only be able to see it from your perspective.
~ SUMMATION ~
The Strigoi Vii Black Veil is Our Code and applies only to the Strigoi Vii or those involved with the Sanguinarium. Employ these proven Principles and you will have a solid foundation for Zhep’r. Do not debate with others who disagree or cannot see the common sense outlined here. As they are not in agreement, simply smile and say, “We must agree to disagree, for free will is the whole of the law.”
