Wesley Wyndam-Pryce first appeared in Sunnydale as Buffy and Faith's new Watcher. After being fired by the Council of Watchers, he joined Angel Investigations as their resident occult expert. Wesley would soon leave Angel Investigations but ultimately return to help the team battle the Beast. The death of girlfriend, Fred, devastated Wesley and forced him to eventually accept Illyria, before dying at the hands of Cyvus Vail.
