Only the most disgusting concept ever put on shirts... Superheroes turned Zombies! Yuch. But it's true... sigh... yes, our beloved Peter Parker ends up munching on Aunt May and Mary Jane for brunch. Read below to see what's up with that!
Basically the Marvel Zombies miniseries was set in an alternate Marvel Universe around 2149 where most of the superheroes and super villains turn into flesh-eating zombies. Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four, is tricked into teleporting into a universe inhabited by nothing short of the zombie versions of Marvel superheroes. Magneto, one of the few unaffected survivors, saves Richard's butt, and explains that the infection started days before Reed's arrival after an unidentified infected superhero, similar to Sentry and Superman from yet another dimension crashed into New York City looking for people to eat. Consider him a mini Galactus. >p? So anyway... Magneto teleports Reed Richards, along with a handful of other survivors, to the Ultimate universe, but stays behind to destroy the teleporter and help ensure the zombies do not infect other dimensions.
Enter.... The Silver Surfer, herald of Galactus, devourer of planets. Surfer informs the zombies that Galactus is en route to devour the planet. The zombies could care less, since they are slave to their stomachs, they attack the Surfer, overpower him... and devour him. Disgusting. The "heroes" discover that by eating the Surfer they are each imbued with a small amount of the Power Cosmic, enabling them to fly, and do other things. TO make a long story short... Zombie Giant-Man is keeping the Black Panther, who is unaffected, alive to study as well as eat now and then.
Galactus arrives on Earth ... he gets taken out by a super-Zombie Canon created by Bruce Banner and friends, and Spider-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Giant-Man and Wolverine all eat poor Galactus.
It's just gross! Go buy the comics and read them now!! You won't be disappointed.
