Look Again
its hard i never liked a clean shaven face
but now without a mirror how can i trace
the contours of my jaw with a razor just so
the line of my chin so the hair just does show
so i now i shave my face clean each day
i miss my beard in a humanistic way
and the ability to slightly alter the view
the symmetry of my face now all askew
i remember looking to see if my tie was straight
to glance in the glass, say have you lost weight
vanity in my appearance once used to be
one of the few sins that afflicted me
but now i no longer have that flaw
i have changed and have become more
since my rebirth into this vampiric phase
and the loss of vanity a small price i paid
