All my life I've felt different from all others but still I always did my best to fit in
Dyed the hair blonde, brown, red, auburn, and still wanted more
Read the good bible like my folks and tried not to sin
But always with the probing questions like "what are we living for?"

All my life I've felt like my life was not the normal kind like the rest of the human race
Always changing how I looked and even how I would dress
Tried to be the good girl for my mom so I wouldn't lose face
But as I gotten older I have found this I care for less and less.

All my life I've known myself to be drawn to the darker side of life
Though I tried to do "the right thing" and do what I was told
But now I realize, like a vampire, that darkness and blood on me does have quite a hold.
