A steller engineer, Omega, is trapped in an Anti-matter universe and wants the Doctor to take his place so that he may return to the normal matter universe. The Time Lords send the Doctor's previous two selves to assist in stopping Omega before he drains all the power from Gallifrey. In reward for success the Doctor is given his freedom of Earth and his access to the TARDIS systems is restored.
