Berserker combines elements of superheroes with Norse mythology and weaves in the very human themes of self-worth, courage and determination. Throw in some bone-crushing violence and punch-in-the-mouth action and you’ve got a recipe for a great Top Cow book!
Farris Jorn is an ex-soldier who fought in the Afghanistan war, suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Lingenfelter put him under hypnosis. Jorn has "Viking" ancestry. When his enemies tortured him they awakened a bloody berserker rage. He not only got rid of his enemies but in his blood lust, decapitated his fellow friend too.
The lives of Aaron and Farris, two young and completely different men, are turned upside down when they discover an animalistic and uncontrollable rage living inside them. Meanwhile, two mysterious organizations seek them out for their newfound strength and power for their own purposes. But what good is strength and power when you can't tell friend from foe?
