Night's Embrace, for my Bonnie Prince
Darkness embraces me like a lover, its cool kiss upon my cheek,
The night breeze like nails across my shoulders.
Your kiss, your blood - both tastes still linger upon my lips, my mouth, my soul!
Did you not feel it?
Our souls were dancing on the moonlight, intertwining on the night air.
My neck and shoulder still hot from your immortal kiss; the pain such a precious ache!
My fingers play along the small wound; so delicious is the memory of you there.
That my hand rests there as my eyes close and a soft moan escapes my lips.
My mouth waters of the memory, the sticky sweet taste of you ahhhh..
Why is it the hunger never lessens but for a moment and then I desire you even more?
‘Tis maddening, it’s lust, desire, hunger, love - all of these things explode when I am in your embrace.
And there are no words for this, there cannot be… for all is you! Everything is you!
A distant howl catches the night wind and brings it to my ears,
My heart races at the sound and I whisper your name hoping you will hear it.
