UNDYING LOVE
Waiting by the window as the sun sets
Knowing what the night will bring
He comes on the wind, swift and silent
His smile radiant, seductive
Fangs that long for her flesh,
Still she is not afraid....
Consumed with more than
Just lust for her blood,
He bathes her with love,
From the first moment he saw her
He craved to feel her and
The pulse throbbing in her jugular,
On this night she allowed his pale lips the pleasure
To drink not with greed, but with love and desire
The heat of her blood, flowing smoothly past his lips
Brings him to life, more than she could know
But when the sun begins to rise, he fades fast away
As rays of light fill her room she lays awake waiting
For the moon to rise and like a mist in the dark
He shall return to be with the her time and again
To be with the one who has captured his lifeless heart
Her blood he will drink, just to feel her,
To share in her humanity if just for a moment
She lives each and every day knowing
What pleasure and ecstasy the darkness brings
Their undying love for each other, it will never fade.
